I was originally going to draw my oc Lunaci on Tegaki-e (a blogging website where you can only draw, not type, using essentially MS paint)
but as soon as I started to actually draw the character, I decided to draw Joshua instead. Just like that.

So after about 20 minutes of aimless scribbling, this came about.

20 more minutes later, this.

Then I decided, what the hey, and drew another one. I'm not quite sure how long this one took, but it was definitely under an hour.

Bet you'll never guess who my favorite TWEWY character is...

Do all the good artists have to make me feel like I draw like an autistic 4 year old? Seriously.

SON YOU DRAW GOOD. Or daughter. Wait wut.

Hawaiianbabidoll : I love it.

I know next to nothing about TWEWY but this has captured my attention.
I've said it too many times, but its impressive and curious artwork.

The dark aspect to the character unsettles me, (not entirely in a bad way)
the ones with the gun (not so bad) or Josh covered in blood... (oh my word that's creepy, with that grin!!!! Eee!)

Its certainly unlike what I usually see. Well more like not like what I usually feel from such images.
So yeah well done with these!
You have been on a roll, I am extremely grateful for the drawings.

Oh and "Bet you'll never guess who my favorite TWEWY character is..."
I think its Joshua. :3

TheNameWithNoNumbers : Really? You shouldn't.
I used to feel a little de-motivated seeing/hearing how well others did their thing, with stories, music or artwork,
comparing harshly to my own abilities.

Drawing is a fantastic skill. Granted it takes allot of practise, but worth the all the time and effort it takes to learn!
For instance : I am a beginner, taking no training what-so-ever, and I am content with the quality I currently draw, and getting better all the time.

Its a matter of whether you can just enjoy what you do or not.

TheNameWithNoNumbers : For the record, I'm female

And don't worry, all artists generally feel inferior when viewing others' work. We always compare ourselves and in the end decide we suck at art. Just going through Deviant art is a good way to murder my self esteem in the art department XD

But like On3On said, we draw because we enjoy it, not to be better than other people. True, we may never be as good as some of the artists in the world, but just keep drawing, and you'll find your skills improving all the time.

On3On: Twewy is best DS game. And Joshua is best character 3

In all honesty, this game has so many good things going for it: a gripping storyline, addictive game play, stunning art, and beautiful music. It's one of those games that didn't receive much attention despite it's pure brilliance, though with the release of dream drop distance, TWEWY is finally starting to grow as a fandom simply because people are becoming curious about their characters. Seriously, people who haven't even heard of TWEWY already love the cast after seeing them in KH. The characters are that good.

If you have a DS, I highly recommend this game, especially if you like amazing story lines. If you lack a DS, watch an LP or emulate it (though due to the control system relying heavily on the stylus, it's much more fun to play on a DS).

It will have you on your toes AND you'll end up replaying it just to see the things you missed the first time through. There are so many little details in the story that are simply overlooked in your first play through because you don't realize their significance until end game. For example, before he gets officially introduced, Joshua Kiryu makes a brief appearance in the very first section of the game, in the background. I never noticed his presence there until my 2nd play through, and now I never miss it.

Oh good god Joshua. I honestly hated this guy when he first comes into the story and audibly complained about him to my friends, but the longer I played, the more I came to love his prissy jerkass-ness and his need to piss off the main character whenever possible.

Joshua is such a fun character.
LET'S KILL EVERYTHING WITH BULLETS AND FEATHERS.
Ah, but as fans of twewy know, the angel feather is actually the best  item in the entire game, acting as this game's secret 'ultimate weapon' amongst the accessories. Plus, items in this game all have a 'person' that, when equipped to them, gives them a special ability/power boost. The feather happens to be a Joshua item, so you best run like hell when he has it.

Especially since Joshua needs to learn you can't make friends by shooting them...

Hawaiianbabidoll :
First off, thank you for that lovely reply! Sooo much tasty info! Second...
Finally got to see TWEWY. A friend played it on a live-stream, via emulator.

Stylish, and well done dialog, the game(play) itself is very complex. My friend found it pretty challenging.
I haven't got to the part where Joshua is introduced, but in the opening scene clip thingy I got a glimpse.

You did Josh justice, and then some. I instantly recognized him, and I immediately thought of the pictures here.
To be honest I don't like the attitude of the main character (Neku)... So I think I'll like it when Joshua turns up and annoys him.  J

And you are right about there being lots to discover.
I should stop here, in the two hours of game play I'd watched, there was allot to see.

Thank you again for the artwork, and for sharing the wonderful experience that is TWEWY. It was worth while and much needed entertainment.
(This was really hard to type. And I am not sure if its even worth posting, redundant and brings nothing to the table... Humph)

On3On : I personally don't find the gameplay all the complex. It may seem like it if you're watching, but when you're actually playing it, you just slip into a mode after a while. The game is forgiving though, so if you can't grasp the double battle system, you can set your partner player to AI mode, which will make the top screen controlled by the computer. This way you can get used to the dual system at your own pace.

But you get a bonus for playing without it, and honestly, once you know what you're doing, controlling both characters yourself is the better route to take. Easier to combo, faster, and the computer is an idiot that can't dodge.

After you see the game to the end, replay the opening scene! Trust me, everything will be different once you know the story. Mind blowing.

I personally love Neku. I found him funny with how much of an anti-social ass he was and I could relate to him. He was originally my favorite character for a huge chunk of the game, until Joshua wormed his way into my #1 spot, but Nekky still holds a close #2.

Truly awesome work, Kit! I never get tired of seeing your drawings.

Josh is easily one of my favorite characters, both to have in battle, and just in general. He is especially preferable in battle if you max out his stats early on like I do.
