As you know   sephiroth is the most powerful enemy in kingdom hearts but I know even the best gamers had trouble

How long did it take you and how many tries on then first time you play kingdom hearts1 or 2


it took me 56 times and  4 hours

4 hours because   I was careful better safe then sorry

First time I fought Sephiroth in KH1, it wasn't that bad, but then he depleted my HP to 1 and sliced me from behind, after that, I ground up for a bit on the rock Titan, until I maxed out my level. Of-course the next few tries weren't a success either.

I can't remember much from my KH1 days, but I do recall I beat him in under 10 tries, and super-glide definitely played a part in that. Made for some damn important escapes and dodges.

Honestly though, in KH2, I feel he was a tad easier, you had forms that you could enter, like master form, there were a ton more combos you could pull off on him, I feel his attacks were just a bit more predictable, though his patterns never really did switch up.

I felt Sora was a bit overpowered because of the drive gauge, but even without it, he was still easy, and not even near max level.

In my defense I play kingdom hearts when I was like 9 

I had like a no plan method

just dodge heal and attack all I did

I will note that I never play games on easy or normal mode. I always go strait to the hardest mode they offer "in this case, Proud Mode". Anyway, Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 1 was a royal pain (but fun). I counted, and it took me 14 tries before I beat him, which was about 40 minutes. It was actually longer if you count me leaving to level up and try again. 

Sephiroth on Kingdom Hearts 2 was insanely easier. They dumbed him down significantly in this one. I beat him when i was only a level 47 and did it on the 3rd try.

but its games like KH and KH2 that help the idea of sephiroth's bad a  image to fan boys

 Being that I just picked up a ps2 and KH1 a month or two ago, I am currently at sephiroth. The problem is that I'm too underleveled to do beat him yet. Probably going to beat Ice Titan, Kurt Zisa, and The Phantom first.

It has been quite the long time since I've played either of those games, but if I can remember correctly, it didn't take me too many tries to finish him off. And someone posted here about all the Forms in KH2, well, if I can remember correctly, you fight Sephiroth solo, so there is no way to be able to use the forms....am I wrong in this?? But it is nice, that once you beat him in #2, that your drive gauge goes up a notch... having that extra level was kind of handy for other parts of the game. And another thing I remember, I did get to level 99 for Sora in both games BEFORE attempting to take on the big guy himself. I does add a nice bit of accomplishment to say that you have finished him off in both games though.

I never fought him in KH 1, but I did in 2. Took me 4 tries, and after that I can beat him in 1 attempt every time now. Though he definitely isn't the hardest KH 2 boss.

Sephiroth was Hard in KH1,but he was easy in KH2,
Here is why,in KH you had to get prepared a whole lot in order to fight him,but that's me,and I had to get a good strong keyblade that worked for me and it ended up being Oblivion Which was a good thing 
in KH2 He was Easy,all I had to do was get a good Keyblade,(the keyblade I used to beat him was the Halloween Town Keyblade,cause the keyblade had a lot of strength in it,and it did a lot of damage if you did Trinity Limit on him.
Either way now,I can Easily beat them Both in KH1 and 2.Cause I know a good way to beat them as of right now.

Kay, I only beat KH2 sephiroth, but I did the training tactic on top of Mufasa's cave, I think it was use the Gullwing Keyblade to beat the heartless that flew on peak of the cave, got to lv. 98, lost about 53 times due to his move that drains all your Hp and his highspeed slash. It was one Hp to like 30 of his, but do know, those last couple of seconds were pretty intense O.o

It took a lot of grinding, but I beat the KH2 Sephiroth in pretty much one sitting.

As for KH1 Sephiroth, I can't even beat the Ice Titan, so my chances of ever beating him are nil.

I actually haven't beaten KH2 Seph yet, but I found him really easy in the first one (beat him on the first try). Probably because I really wanted to see the ending so I didn't do as much leveling. I'll have to make sure to beat him next time I play it! For strategy, you just have to memorize his moves and avoid the stronger ones.

I never beat him lol So help me I tried but to no avail. I always meant to go back and play it again and try my chances over, but I never get around to it.

Sephiroth is the toughest boss I've ever faced in a video game.  I was 10 when I encountered him for the first time and I got my butt handled, I was a pretty good gamer for a 10 year old.  I've never been able to beat him in the first one, but I did beat him in the 2nd one on 6 tries at level 42.

On both games it took me about 2 months to beat them both.  I lost once on KH 1 and trained up to level 99.  Same with KH II.  I think he was harder on KH 1 though.  I never used Ultima weapon, granted I had it on both games.
