Ziggy: The reason it doesn't get updated every year is because it's a huge task to update every single player when there's hundreds of players to to update and updating each player includes their name, number, team, position, stats (big task there), mug shot (another big task), etc.

I know a lot of other sports, but I just don't pay attention to football.
(Truthfully I only see it as two teams tackling each other until someone gets the ball to the end of one side of the field.)

Based on that ignorant statement, I'm assuming you've never watched or played a full game of football in your life.

But anyways, I'm gonna make a youtube video on this and do a little advertising based on this game, hopefully it'll draw some people to the site. Tecmo Super Bowl is still a really popular NES game and easily on the top 10 most popular NES games.
