Welcome to the Wonder Boy review!

Attack, fight monsters, kill them, earn hearts to recover some lost health and gold pieces to buy new equipment, most of them expensive, and find the legendary armor to help you fight against the last boss, which is very high in the skies!

This game tells about a young warrior called Shion, the warrior destined to fight and save the people from earth from the monsters, showing up and many places, you will travel to many places, surviving through sewers, mountains, deserts, caves, the triangle egipt thing (I don't know the name of it in english D=), underwater, volcanos, beaches, Ice palaces, and many more places buying armor, Swords, Shields, Boots, and potions, finding heart containers to increase maximum health, quest items and others! Shion can also count on Magics he find around the places he explore, reloading the magic when going to sleep! Meeting people to help the Wonder Boy Shion, such as the Sphinx, princesses, dragons, and King Neptune himself! In order to become the legendary warrior, to save the world!   Fighting dragons, yetis, penguins, slimes, goblins, mummys, and much more!

I remember playing this game with the NES emulator CD I got when young, it also had SNES games, but the sounds and graphics of some games were bad, or the controls was confusing, but at first I've played this game with taht CD, I stopped to play on the part you have to talk with the Queen next to a cave you find on teh beginning of the game, when you needed to use the Ocarina to paly the song to open the Sealed doors, when young I managed to open one door but somehow the game glitched and I got stuck on the space between the door taht was sealed an the door I was being directed.

Well, I guess now it's time to give the rating of this game.

Graphics: 8
On my opinion I think the graphic are well made, the only thing that I thought was a bit wierd, is taht looks like Shion dosen't have a mouth, but the looking of the beaches, the ice palace, volcano, forest, and the other places looked good, I guess taht a good rating for Graphics for this game deserves a 8.

Sound: 7
Sound is good, the music of the ice place of the game have kind of a sad song, when I'm playing this game, and reaching that part of the game, it is ALWAYS cold where I live, I would give 7.3, so I'm giving the rating of Sound a 7.

Addictiveness: 7
Isay that once I start playing this game I want to continue playing it until I finish, but after I finish teh game I don't want to play it for a while, but after some months I play it again, the game got plenty to do, and it takes a few hours to finish, a good rating for this would be 7.

Story: 6
Shion have to go to many places, helping people in need, getting equipment, fighting bosses, etc, Shion travels to find the Legendary Sword, The Legendary Armor, The Legendary Shield and The Legendary Boots, to fight a evil threat in space, to save the world. I'm not sure how to rate this so I guess I'll rae this a 6.

Depth: 9
This game got many things to do, travel around talking with people, saving money to buy powerful equipment, fight the bosses and etc, for me this game takes some good hours to finish, in my opinion this game deserves the rate of 9.

Difficulty: 5
I think the game itself it not too hard, if you got good equipment, the only real problem is the final boss, he is very hard! It took me I don't know, more than 5 tries using save state to defeat him, so for Difficulty I'm giving the rate of 5.

Combining everything: Overall rating: 7
This is a fun game to play, you will take some time to beat it, it got lots of things to do, and once you start playing, you may want to continue playing it until you finish, the graphics don't look bad and neither the sound is bad, this is a game that you should try to play sometimes, and hope that it is not cold like here on Brazil when reaching that ice place of the game.
