That's why the game is so difficult, but also so intense, that it makes you want to pick the controller back up right after throwing it at the screen.

This game is so tough, that it's almost impossible to beat unless you use the Konami Code: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Even if you have the code, you still need to watch your back, because there's no telling what this relentlessly hard game will throw at you next. And if you choose to go it with only three lives, let me put it this way: The best offense is a good defense.

Getting a spread gun in this game is absolutely vital to surviving this unforgiving game. If you have the spread gun, be extra careful not to pick up any other weapons or to get hit. Because this game will take away your spread gun if you die while holding it.

i like it though i dislike games that are overly difficult in the beginning i still enjoyed it i especially like the pseudo 3D gunning sections

I did like this game, but it was pretty hard. One of the hardest games I have ever played really. It's like this, once you get hit by a bullet, you lose a life. It's pretty hard, but it's also a great game
