Who do you think Silver's parents are?  Is Shadow the dad?

No. Why would you honestly think Silver is Shadow's son? That's absurd. And Klutch's post is just even more idiotic .
Shadow does not have the power of Telekinesis, nor does he have any other powers like that. He's not even the REAL Shaodw, he's a clone. The real Shadow died for your sins died to save the earth from the ARK's impact, sacrificing himself instead of Sonic doing it so he could be with Maria. Therefore, no kids. And Silver wasn't even supposed to be a Hedgehog originally, so that further denies the idea that he's Shadow's son.

I personally think that silver's dad is a mixture of Omachao and a bag of cannabis. As much as i love the Sonic Franchise his character Irritates me the most.

Also i don't need to add why Shadow can't be the father, As Mega summed it up perfectly... You'd know this if you played the games

MegaRevolution1 : the reason being is that the Archie comic creator said that shadow was the father, but this is unclear as they won't tell Sega.  his mother is still unconfirmed.

mr.pace : But that's the thing. Nobody cares about the Archie Comics, and they aren't even connected to the main series . If they were, Sonic would still be on Mobious, and they'd have the Freedom Fighters, and a ton of other different story shattering things to it, Nya~.

I really don't know what to think, I mean the first time I saw Silver the Hedgehog was yesterday when I was battling him in Sonic Generations. I noticed he had Pyschic powers and it almost had me thinking that he was related to Shadow, but then I also knew that Shadow can't use Psychic powers.

MegaRevolution1 : Through game series, Sonic and the Black Knight suggested that Shadow is Silver's dad and Amy his mother and that's exactly what the Archie comic guy said.  There are similarities between the two.  Chest air, great power,  hovering(not flying).  And it is believed that Silver's telekinetic powers aren't hereditary but bio engineered. 

Ok, first of all, like I said, Shadow is dead. Kinda hard to have a kid when the father was already dead, Nya~ .
Second, Amy has some crush on Sonic, not Shadow, and I doubt that she would just forget about Sonic and go straight to Shadow's side, especially since he's either a robot or a clone (Depending on the game. He was a full out clone from Shadow the Hedgehog onward, but a robot in Sonic Heroes).
Lastly, I've never heard bout these hints in Sonic and the Black Knight, and that series is a completely different world too, so it isn't connected. And again, Archie Comics don't follow SEGA's story unless it's a special edition for a specific game, such as what they did with Sonic Generations and Sonic 4 Episode 2, Nya~.

MegaRevolution1 : Shadow is immortal so he can't die of old age.  In Sonic the Next Gen.  Omega tells Shadow that he was the one that seal him away 200 yrs into the future.  I don't believe Amy his mother either I'm just throwing out what know.

He didn't die of old age. I won't go ahead and spoil it for everyone who hasn't played it yet, but go and play Sonic Adventure 2 to see exactly how he died (Or look up the ending on youtube). And of course he could seal him away in 200 years if he were a clone or robot, mainly because they don't die, which is how Omega sealed him away.
And plus, if he truly was Silver's father, then why did he not only not have a clue who he was, but not know who Mephiles was either (Seeing as he was a basic recolor of Shadow in his shadow form).
Note, I may be forgetting whether Silver stated that he was an orphan or not, so don't really quote me on the part of not recognizing him, Nya~

MegaRevolution1 : At the end of Shadow the Hedgehog Dr. Eggman tell Shadow that he's the real deal so Shadow isn't dead nor is he an robot.  And I believe Silver is an Orphan so he doesn't know who his parents are.

I'm with Mega, Shadow dies too much to be the father of anything, besides that one non-canon Sonic chao that looks exactly like him.

Silver's father is obviously Dr. Eggman, as Dr. Eggman is somehow the father of everybody, because he mutates people or clones them or turns them into the robots. So technically everything that happened has been Ivo's fault. Yep, everything is his fault.

Random jokes aside... I don't really care for Silver, and I think his father is some other random character that they'll bring up for a one time game or something.

mr.pace : But you see, in 200 years from their current time, everyone else would be dead from old age. Not even the Chaos Emeralds will prevent that from happening. So, since Silver is about 12 years old in Sonic 06, it would be impossible for Shadow to have a child with anyone like Amy (As you said was hinted in the Black Knights) or whatever, causing him to be a lost soul. And yeah, I remember him saying right in the beginning of his Story mode that he was an orphan. Also, Eggman can't really confirm whether who's the real Shadow or not, especially since even SEGA has confirmed now that the true Shadow sacrificed his life to stop the ARK. The only reason they didn't drop him from the franchise after that was because he was too popular of a character to let go of, causing this whole debate

Tommyspud : Well, Dr. Ivo Robotnik didn't really create anyone. It was his grandfather who had created the ARK and Shadow the Hedgehog, and then GUN came in and locked his grandfather up, killed Maria, and shut down the ARK and took every experiment, including Shadow.
Plus, he's not a real Hedgehog. He was genetically modified and completely original. You can basically see that by noticing how the prototype of the Ultimate life form (Shadow) was a gigantic lizard, which even more goes into how he can't be the real father of anything, because his son would be basically, well, nothing. Being a false species, he wouldn't have the ability to have a kid. And yeah, they will probably show his true parents soon enough, but they'll most likely be in the comics instead of the game series.

XD, that was a joke, but Eggman is the 'father' to a bunch of robots that he randomly creates.

As for the comics, I have given up on most of those. I'm sticking to the games.

And I've only read a few of the comics legitimately, and read the synopsis of a few. They definitely made me sad about the series

I kind of stopped caring about the comics in general when they started making hyperactive rabid insane hedgehogs or whatever.
