Overwritten my Ruby save after Groudon, I hate this.

I saw this game and it looked pretty cool. I noticed it had my Ruby save, and it made me interested.
After playing for a bit, I noticed the Baltoys in the desert, and I wanted to get it so bad.

I pressed F2 all of a sudden, and boom.
My old save was gone.

My level 70 Blaziken became level 39.
Groudon disappeared.
My Deoxys was gone...

I was very disappointed it overwritten my old state.
I felt like throwing my keyboard out the window, from the 2 days I had to figure out what to do after Lavaridge.
Why. -.-

I rate this game 0. I hate how it had to delete my 2 days that been wasted.

...It's just saddening.

So anyways, I just wanted to know if there's a way of recovering my Ruby save. I spent so long leveling up my Pokémon.

I believe it may use the same save because it's a hacked version of the game that you were originally playing. That really sucks. Did you go into the save file manager and see if you could find a different version of your old save?
