Well, here it is. I honestly expected to get this back in February, but real life sort of got in the way, and then the board was super slow for a while, and then real life again. But I did it this weekend. In fact, not only did I make it to 1000, I also hit Ravering Syndrome just five posts ago.

So, this being a monumentous occasion, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on my time here at Vizzed Boards. When I first showed up, I was surprised at a number of things. First of all, I haven't seen an active forum since 2007 that wasn't a chan, so that was completely surprising, but that it was a board using software based on Acmlmboard was even more charming! It was a rare double-whammy that made me have to sign up, even though I thought the background of the site was weird (Seriously, it gets me every time!)

And luckily for me, I happened to join just three days after the start of the very first Tour de Vizzed. That was a really fun experience for me, especially since I shot up to the top of the newbie ranks right away and held the White Badge for the entire time. As I've mentioned today, I rather miss having my white name...

But that's fine, because I came here for the community. It's you people who make me post here, who keep me coming back. Some of you more than others.

So here it is, my 1000th post, and my fourth thread. (Fifth if you count one that I accidentally made due to clicking Submit instead of Preview--which was quickly deleted).

It's been a rather strange trip, hasn't it? So let's throw a party!

Well your having an excellent week my fellow mod! 1k post and mod position in one week~ Congrats on both! No matter how hard I try it's hard for me to find enough to post in. Plus my family keeps me on my toes. So sitting down for an hour at the computer is even difficult to do~ You'll probably reach 2k before I get my first 1k!

Veneeval is tiring... so don't relent until it's done. If you tell yourself you are taking a break you will not be able to do it. Your mind will not allow it.

So you can take a break, but beware the disease called laziness.

Even with the various set backs, you managed to keep yourself at more than 13 posts per day which is double what my my highest posts per day ever was. Not only that but you've also kept a higher words per post than most people, and you are just getting started! 5,000 could be right around the corner for all we know --but I am not going to dare you to push yourself. Congratulations, Lazlo.
