How to unlock Shiva: defeat him and after you defeat him hold b until the next round starts and when you lose a continue you can select him
how to unlock ash(bare knuckle 3): defeat him and hold a until the next round starts and when you lose a continue select to play as him
how to unlock roo: kill the clown in round 2-1 and when you lose a continue select roo [ is weaker than his boss form

I've been a fan of Streets of Rage since childhood and I was completely unaware of unlock-able characters!

Thanks for the input, however, I doubt I'll be able to unlock any of them. Streets of Rage 3 is by far the hardest to beat as a single player than the other 2 games. It almost seems impossible.

I totally love this game out of the 2nd one Everyone all talk about how better Streets Of Rage 2 like it Street Fighter 2 they're talking about.I like the The alternative endings in the game.This game wasn't a challenge what are you people are talking about??This is the best out of the series that ended it pretty well.They are hack games of the whole series i think you have to go on bombergames.net not sure but you have to look up streets of rage on youtube and you get to see different levels and they even riding on a motorbike at certain levels
