Ok I have a 4 year old sister that goes to pre-school.  She comes home with some strange things to say, some cute, some not so cute.

She has been experimenting with knock knock jokes.

Her:  Knock Knock  Me:  Who's there?  Her: Peter Noone  Me:  Peter Noone who? (note Peter Noone is her favorite singer)  Her:  *repeats previous lines 3 more times... then continues after I fake angry*  Orange you glad I didn't say Orange?

Ok yeah lame but she is trying to find the humor in knock knock jokes.

She does come home some times with bad words from her classmates.  We have to repremand her and make sure she does not say them again.  She one time asked me what she can say instead of those bad words.  I remind her I use strange nonsense words to fill the bad words.  So now she uses those words instead.  It's funny hearing her say "Oh crimady", "Fiddlesticks", "Fudge cakes".  But it is better than the bad words!

This morning she said something that absolutely floored me.  We were watching her channel Nick Jr and they were talking about black history month.  She asked why the people had different color skin.  I told her that many humans like us have different skin colors there are red, black, white, tan colored people.  I told her we were white skinned people.  She said; "No I am not white".  I asked her why she thought she was not white.  She said; "I am plad colored skin".  She then pointed to her tummy where she has her rash (exama? Don't know the spelling for that word)  I just fell out of my chair laughing.  Her reasoning was so logical I had no way to respond.  I still have to figure out how to respond to that!

Haha, that's hilarious. Little kids always have the greatest ways of looking at life, and they know not to take things so seriously.

I love the knock knock joke. It just kinda came out of nowhere. xD

Maybe your sister is the start of a new race of plaid-colored people? That would be an interesting case. X3

Ah yes, little kids can say some of the funnies things.

Her:  Knock knock  me: Who's there?  her: Wall E  me: Wall E who?  her:  Knock knock joke!
