Overall - 8.8
bit Generations - Dotstream on the Game Boy Advance is a Japanese game, however, it is in English so I do not know why it is. This game is pretty fun to play. I really enjoyed the way it is with all the colors in the game. This game is like Mario Kart, but you are just colors. Now you may think that this game is boring cause all you do is just move your color and just beat the other colors, but once you get really into it, the game is amazing. I guarantee you that this game is worth trying.
Graphics - 10
The graphics are awesome, only because there is just colors instead of objects in the game. The effects are not as great, but is worth having when you get items.
Sound - 10
The sound is probably the best thing in the game because it would play some very cool songs that really go with the game play, kind of like techno. The sound effects are not as interesting, but is okay.
Addictiveness - 7
This game is fun to play some of the time, but I would not call it addicting because it is like a racing game. Other than that, it should be treated like a Mario Kart-like game. I would play it once a week because of the colors. I do not know why, but it just looks so cool seeing all the colors moving everywhere.
Story - N/A
There is no story in this game. Pretty much no way of trying to make it a story.
Depth - 6
Like I said, this game is like a racing game. All you do is race other colors. However, there is other, how you say "mini games", that can be fun too. For instance, there is a little game in there that is just like playing by yourself and you just fill up a meter, but the issue of that is that you need another player to move it. I do not know how that is possible on a Game Boy Advance, but I am guessing that is for linked gamers. Other than that, the rest of the races are great.
Difficulty - 5
The game is not that hard at first, but once you start playing the harder levels, it would be intense. Now it is like that in games, it would get harder, but in this game, it goes from easy to impossible. I think that is what all Japanese games are. What sucks about this game is that if you hit a wall, you lose a life and if you run out, you are in last place of that level. Be sure to avoid getting hit. It will keep you on the edge of the seat. Other than that, the game is still interesting.
Wrap Things Up...
bit Generations - Dotstream is an okay game to try out, especially if it is a Japanese game. I highly recommend trying this game out if you have not already. It is a lot of fun and the graphics are really cool looking.
