Personally, I liked Final Fantasy VIII, X, X-2, XII, and I haven't finished XIII but I would have to say Final Fantasy X is my favorite one.I loved the characters in that game and the story line I thought was great. Good enemies too. Also among the smaller games of FF I like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance as 1st and Echoes of Time in 2nd for handheld games.

My favorite is Final Fantasy IV on the DS, it's quite fun. It's challenging and long, which are good things in games. I don't normally play those kind of Role playing games, but Final Fantasy is great.
