I'm really frustrated with the level of chat now. Well, I have been for a while, but I feel like expressing it now. Maybe I grew up and Vizzed didn't. But I feel like the place is just... I hate to say it like this, stupid. Everybody is stupid. I'm sorry because many people might view this thread and say, 'does TJ think I'm stupid?'. The answer might even be yes. Some of you might read this and say, 'hell, Tj's the stupid one'. The answer is more definitively yes.

Everyone reading this will think that I'm not ticked at them in particular, but someone else. They're probably wrong considering how many people in chat are stupid. Meh, you might even hate me (if you don't already). You see, my role as a moderator is "Chat Monitor" which is basically a fancy title they give to the guy that is supposed to sit in chat and make sure no one posts pornography or says a bad word. So I monitor. And I'm not allowed to punish people for being morons. But it's all I've seen, in the hours and hours I've been in chat.

Maybe you think I'm just being my usual jerk self. Maybe you think I'm typing up a big post because of the VCS. Maybe I make too many assumptions about the readers. Maybe I assume I'm assuming too much. Too bad, deal with it.

So no, I don't "wana rp?". And don't give me that "You don't really know me" crap, because based off what I've seen, I have no desire to get to know you. And I don't care if you think your day was the worst day ever.

I've chatted with some real friends, some intelligent life out there. They suggest I call out everyone individual idiot. I don't think I should, because my post would be waaaay too long. It's funny to think that, when I put on the nostalgia-glasses, I think back to a time where at least the idiots were entertaining.

So that's that. I'm at a breaking point. Are you as frustrated as me? Please tell me I'm not going insane.

This is pretty sucky. I don't think you're insane for feeling this way, there's a whole new breed of idiot on the chat the likes of which I haven't seen in quite some time, haha. But there's a lot of pretty cool people too, so good with the bad, ya know?

I'll miss you being around, I enjoyed derping around with you and Seph. We only just started talking, so I hope this had nothing to do with me. I don't assume it does, but just putting it out there.

I do not blame you for making this thread, and no you aren't insane.

I'll admit I'm one of the dumb ones but I don't act dumb during serious conversations unlike others.

I try my best at times to keep chat calm, but since I have no power I am unable to at times.

Again, you're not the only one to spot the stupid in chat, and I'll admit I'm one of the causes.

But I know when enough is enough, and I stop there unlike most other idiots.

Now, if I were mod I would have made a thread like this a long time ago and it's ok to let your frustration out like this (I know I have).

So once again, I do not blame you for making this thread, and to help you I'll start acting more mature.

KG : I don't think I'll stop going into chat. I mean it is my job. As much as this thread was an expression of frustration, it was also an apology in advance if I seem especially snappy at people.

In every word in this chat, I have to agree. This is exactly why I am 99% idle in the chat room daily. Its just the same thing every day, loldrama as far as the eye can see. I'm not in a breaking point, but I will agree with the I'm tired of the people being moronic, but that won't change. They are who they are, I can respect that, but don't expect me to be morons with them, its not me. Therefore yes, you are at your breaking point, but you have every right to be like this. You aren't insane, if you are insane, then I'm insane as well.

Oh haha, so that's why you needed that comic! I agree with the general idea of what you're saying, but you can't really be THIS pissed off, can you? I mean, you're in chat more often than I am, so I can see why it's frustrating, but still. If people used the correct chat rooms, this wouldn't be an issue. RP'ers in the RP room, videos in the Youtube room, etc.

The chatroom is for lighthearted stuff, while the forum is for more serious conversations. I don't really know why silly/stupid conversations happen so often in chat, but I have a feeling it's because it's much easier to type well thought-out responses on a forum than it is on a chat that restricts people to a few sentences.

I don't want to sound mean, but if you think chat is stupid, the simplest solution is to just leave and don't come back. Then you don't have to deal with something that annoys you. I say this because I don't think you'll be able to convince the people who like to troll and be silly change their ways and have "real" conversations all the time.

For me, I don't find the chat annoying. When I go there I'm expecting it to be silly and meaningless. I get some pretty good laughs out of it, but if it's not your thing, I don't think you're insane.

I don't spend that much time in chat except for when I have absolutely nothing else to distract me, but am I wrong in saying that the more time spent in chat, the more sense of humor you find in the stupid things people say? Or are you saying you're fed up with inappropriate things people say?

No I like a little silliness. And I don't want to leave. I just don't get the "LOL" when some newbie says something completely randome and irrelevant. I also understand that not everyone wants to take the extra time to fix their spelling and grammar.

And as I've said, I'm not really as angry as my post makes it seem. It was just a expression of frustration.
