No, this isn't some rock band or that sludge doom band from Norway or whatever. Monarch actually is an awesome band from the nearby (for me) city of Seattle, and they're actually really good. One of their songs that you've probably never heard of is Perform, with the music video being here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sbt2IYDCkE
I really like these dudes and am still mad at my mom for making me miss all the opportunities I had to see them live. I say this because unfortunately, they're probably not going to be doing much together anymore since the lead singer is moving to L.A. in a few weeks. Thanks, Mom. Anyway, I'm also fortunate enough to be taking guitar lessons from their drummer (yes, their drummer), who is also a really great guy, and if they do any more shows, I think it'll be worth your money to check them out.
