As some of you have noticed, Mature Chat is now up.

This means there will be rules. As in, rules rules.

1. We can't really enforce it, but do not go in that chat unless there is a moderator in there to watch over the chat. It's an honor system, please honor this request.
2. Mature Chat is NOT Sex chat. Yes, sex is a mature topic, but that's not why it was brought back. We brought it back so there could be real mature discussion. Don't abuse it.
3. If a moderator tells you you are going over the line, it's because you probably are. So if they tell you to stop, stop. Simple right?
4. Use the same courtesy you would in General Chat. Do not flame, post porn, or do anything else against Vizzed Board rules. If it doesn't fly in General it doesn't fly in Mature. The exception is that you can be a little more "mature" in there.
5. Moderators are going to be told to kick troublemaking users in Mature. You won't get away with it. If you get kicked, wait out your time, and don't cause trouble elsewhere.

If there's anything anyone else would like to add, please do so.

I like this, but honestly. I just see trouble brewing. We all know how immature people will do just to get attention and cause trouble, specially in a place like the "Mature chat room" Of course, that's just my opinion. I hope I'm just paranoid.

Wiil do, Mr. Leggy. But I can't help that if a moderator isn't around in the Mature chat, some noobs will walk in there and.....well, be noobs. =P

Oh, I hear you. That's one of the reasons why I quit going in there due to the fact of the immature children that doesn't know how to act their age.. Then again, they're probably are acting their age. *shrugs* Whatever the case maybe. I have to agree on Vizwiz. A mod who haves a little more free time on their hand should hang around that particular chat room as much as possible. That way if they're not busy, He/she can keep an eye out on the room.

Well, you do know what you're doing. It's just my paranoia. Of course, you know I won't start anything in the chat room, unless someone messes with me. 

So, I take it that any over the line things going on in mature chat will be cracked down harder than general? I only ask because I think that that should be the case. If someone goes into the mature chat, they are stating not only that they are mature enough to be in there, but they are also stating that they are mature enough to deal with the consequences when they cross the line without whining like little babies

With all that, I guess you might want to add that since Mature chat is for mature people only, rules will be more harshly enforced in there (save for the PG rule). Could you double time for punishments (10 mins for mute, 120 for kick) in there? Or do you think that's unnecessary? x3

In all seriousness, I would prefer that if people are going to go into Mature, they act their age, not their shoe size.

I agree with the rules. And doubling the punishments might be a good idea too, if at all possible.

Its pretty nice that the Mature chat is back, but I guess we have to see where the room goes from here, hopefully it won't become General Chat 2.0

well i know it says PG13+ but do you really need to be 13 to be in it?

No, but topics in Mature Chat are very PG, and it's reccommended you do not go in there, since you won't know the majority of what is said.
