I keep trying to save in game to no avail, so I want to know how to save and load otherwise, and don't just tell me F2 to save and F4 to load as that hasn't worked out for me.

Please don't get upset with me suggesting the F2 and F4 keys. But just to make sure. Are you using a laptop? If you are using a laptop, are you remembering to hold the fn key when you push the F2 and F4 keys? 99% of the time, that is what laptop users aren't doing when they say it doesn't work.

The fn key is what is on smaller keyboards such as those on laptops. On smaller keyboards, the Function keys (F1, F2, F3, etc) have more than one use. For example, my F2 also darkens my screen. To make the F2 function the way I need it to in the RGR, I have to hold the fn key when I press F2. So i have one question about your keyboard. Do your Function keys have more than one use? You can tell if there is some kind of picture of icon on the keys other than F1, F2, etc. 

If not, when you try pressing F2, does you screen say anything? Do you get message saying it was saved successfully either on your screen or below your game window? If so, and it just isn't loading, you should check the File Save Manager to see if it really is storing your files. 

If you are getting a different message, such as save state failed, or something, what does it say exactly? Or are you not getting anything at all when you press it?

No problem. Before I close the thread, can you just briefly explain what was you saw going wrong and what you did to make it work so someone else might find the thread helpful if they are having the same problem? 

Well, I tried to save in game and I kept getting the "save Failed" message on the screen, so I tried looking around to see how to save and stuff. I saw some people talking about how they saved but I didn't understand fully what they were talking about. I attempted to save with f2 but it didn't load the next time when I pressed f4. I started a new game after reading your advice and pressed f2 twice, and it started where I had pressed f2 the first time.

I have actually never seen that be a solution for someone. I will keep that in mind as a suggestion for when others have similar problems.
