I came to this site as a means to play Pokémon since I never purchased a handheld beyond a Game Boy Color. But I don't understand what the point is of posting on the message board, or what Viz is and does for you, or what is the point of buying armor and weapons.

Posting on the board lets you socialize with the other users. You get Viz by posting, and then purchase the games with Viz (the board currency). That way we can limit people who are playing the games a bit, to lessen the bandwidth usage. The more the bandwidth is used, the more the site becomes slower.  It's really easy to gain Viz though.

The armor and weapons don't have any use yet. It's for the future battle arena that will be made by davideo7 (the owner of the board) .

It's not mandatory that you post on the board, however if you don't you won't receive Vizz unless you log on to Vizz everyday, do jobs in the Vizzed Market, or donate to the site.

The purpose of the armor and item shop is for the upcoming Battle Arena or to buy accessories like the Laptop or V machine which allows you to play all Retro Game Room Games free of charge (read item desired in item shop for description of item). Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
