Overall - 4.5
Super Mario World (hack) on the Genesis is a horrible hack of Super Mario World. First of all, it is not even near a Super Mario World, it is pretty much like Super Mario Bros on the NES. Second of all, it is so messed up. I thought it would be a fun game to play, but I realized that this game is a pile of crap. I can't believe that this hacker made this game so horrible and forgot to put some things that were needed in this game.
Graphics - 8
The graphics were not that bad at first. When I went to verse Bowser, he glitched a little and that is kind of not fair cause how would you know where he comes from if he just appears anywhere. Ridiculous.
Sound - 4
The sound is horrible. It plays that same music in every level, except for when you are versing Bowser. It gets so annoying, I was about to blow up. When Mario gets hit, he sounds like a squishy toy. WTF!? Mario does not sound like a squishy toy. He should sound like an Italian man.
Addictiveness - 4
I would probably not play this game all the time cause it is so boring that I would rather play Super Mario Frustration for 8 hours straight. I cannot understand how this game turned out to be a horrible game. It is just not exciting.
Story - N/A
There is no story in this game. The story is probably any other story from all the other Mario games. Mario tries to save Princess Peach from Bowser. That is it.
Depth - 6
This game does not have a lot of features. First of all, the blue crystals you collect in the game represents the coins. There is no where in the screen that tells you how many coins you have. It also has some blocks in there that you cannot jump on or can go through them. This guy must think that we are suppose to figure out where to stand on. So many messed up things in this game.
Difficulty - 5
The game is quite difficult if you start playing it. The hardest thing in this game is that YOU CANNOT JUMP ON THE ENEMIES. Mario jumps on everything, but in this game, you cannot. What kind of crap is this? Although, you do have this giant green boxing hand that you can throw, but you can only have 3. Once your all out, you cannot get more till you die. That sucks. Another thing in this game is the enemies. They either move left and right or move in swirls. This irritates me cause they do not move on one side and go off the screen, but they just move left to right and right to left. You can't tell if they are going to move left or right when you jump on them. It is just horrible.
Wrap Things Up...
Super Mario World (hack) on the Genesis is a horrible game to play. I highly not recommend trying this game, you will be disappointed. Trust me. It is not even a Super Mario World-related game.
