Just recently the link to reaching Vizzed's chatrooms has appeared to lead to an advertisement on adsfly and requested me to make a download. I got the same link too, by just clicking the 'Chat Room (_)' link. It's not a real problem for me because there's a SKIP button to let you bypass and go straight to the original chat room.

I'm trying out an advertising program that MichaelVash recommended to me, what it does is it takes any link that leads to an external website and it makes it so you gotta view a full page ad before you can proceed to that external site.  It allows me to make an exception for some sites so I'll make an exception for the chat room.

As for the ad, I'm totally okay with it. Clicking 'skip ad' after five seconds of waiting is no great burden, and if it could potentially be a good source of revenue for Vizzed, then I'm all for it.

The same exploitation could go for any ad, so I'm sure it's not something they overlooked.

Personally, I don't like these kinds of ads, along with pop-ups, but if it's for the good of Vizzed, I guess I can live through them.

I'm not a fan of the ads either to be honest, looks like it hurts external link indexing and basically adfly steals your external links and swaps it with theirs. Plus it degrades the site when you got popup ads like that. Sure it helps fund vizzed but at the same time it hurts remote link indexing and the users experience A lot of people would assume its a virus or click out of the entire site completely if popups come up.

As for the exploit, no advertiser would pay money if they found out that the views or clicks are cheated unless they didnt do their research. I will say this though... the functionality is a lot better on these then the adbrite popup ads. You hear that adbrite? Your ad company sucks

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
