Lol, this is so silly.
It might be ok for people with geocities sites and what not, but for us serious developers, well.. we hate reditects , thats why we pay for sites .
Still a good idea though.

You completely missed the point there

Lets say you have an extremely long URL which links to an ebay item for example, well you can shrink it down with this Tiny url and give it to someone.

Or, lets say you wnat to trick someone into going to a site but dont want them seeing the url of the actual site, the tiny url is a disguise.

Wow, now IceWave is missing the point. You guys are so far down under that things like these just go right over your heads

Lets say you had to write down the url to an address that is massively long, with tiny url you can shrink that down and than give it to someone. Or over msn lets say you wanted someone to go somewhere but didn't want them seeing the actual url, with tiny url you can trick them.

David... do you misleading send people to porn websites... and WC3... ok yes is Warcraft III but is also oh wait... i mean W3C! not WC3 :p lol sorry...

W3C
in short...
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) develops interoperable
technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead
the Web to its full potential.

When a new Browser is release it is sent to them first and they test EVERY bit of code and how it reacts in the browser. They are the standards of HTML on the internet. They should be respected, but also feared

Anyway, david... your sick...

Service Pack 1 comes out for Vista soon too I think, I'm gonna wait for that before I install it on my home pc. My work PC has Vista though and I like it a lot so far.
