Mega Man X is the first game that I played, and I must say coming back to it after all these years is fantastic! It was a spectacular move for Capcom to make, and the graphics and mechanics are amazing. Anyway, I'll do this in several categories:1: Playability: 8/10. It's a lot of fun! It has a few collectibles, and not so many that you get overwhelmed. It can be a little hard to get all of them, but the challenge is worth it! The game mechanics are largely from the original series, which I have played none of, but are still fantastic! You're not jumping and squishing goombas or jumping on robots, you're shooting them up with your Mega Buster! However, it can be very difficult if you don't know what you're doing, which is why a walkthrough would come in handy.2: Graphics: 9/10The Detail! It's fantastic! Amazing! Especially on the SNES, this game really impressed me! 3: Difficulty: 6/10 (The closer to ten this number is, the harder it is. Five is just about right, challenging but not too hard) : Some of the bosses are tough if you don't know what their weakness is. They don't give you any hints either, except the elements of the bosses. Really, how was I supposed to guess that the Shotgun Ice works best against Spark Mandrill? After seeing what it did to Flame Mammoth's stage, I was more likely to try it on him than Sparky. However, I had a walkthrough that I read so I knew what to do. After that, it's still pretty difficult, but manageable if you keep trying.4: Plot: 7/10: It's pretty simple, but still innovative. If you combine this with parts of the Day of Sigma OVA, it makes a lot more sense. However, it's not completely canon, and only with the PSP remake, so take that as you will.
Spoiler:
Also, Zero keeps dying and coming back throughout the series, and I find that a little ridiculous, even if he is a robot.

I have played through all the Megaman games for the NES quite a few times. What is strange about the series is that even though they are pretty much the same gameplay with different guns, it is still fin. The graphics pretty much don't improve through the series for the NES. As a matter of fact, a lot of the things are reused, such as enemies, fire, water, and other environmental graphics. Even though that is true, every one of them are as fun as the rest. My question about this is how would you rate this comparing it to the NES games. Is it better, not as good, or pretty much the same (which would kind of fit how it was throughout the series for the NES)?

Hmm. I don't know, I'm going to have to get on the NES games here some, as I have never played them really. I'll get back to you on that.
