I think school is a wast of time here because my enitry time in school they just thogh me the same thing over and over.

Well, not trying to be rude but maybe if you paid more attention you wouldn't have so many grammatical errors in this sentence. I think it's useful I just don't understand homework.

School is absolutely not a waste of time. Especially if you want to be successful throughout life. You might not realize it now, but there are a ton of things you learn from school, or opportunities you gain from them, that will make your life so much easier in the future. If you try hard in school now, you will be rewarded.

Did you learn how to read and write in school? How about to properly draw? Learn how to count? Know what 2+2 was? These are all things that we more or less do in daily life. And while parents could teach you this, eventually it goes down to the same thing; learning. School teaches us things so we can use them in the rest of your life. You relearn the same things again and again to make sure it sticks and that you remember it. This is why you are to manually copy notes and not just type or print them off. You remember the notes more effectively if you write it down manually yourself. And as for trying to learn how to write so I may make my own books someday, I have improved my writing skills soooo much this year alone. I also learned how to write more then just stories, but lyrics, poems (well, I knew how to write them. Now I can write poems even better), short stories (different from stories, trust me) and many more things that give me a grand view of perspective on what I want to do as a hobby. If you are taking classes for something you enjoy, then you are sure to know exactly what I mean.

Yes, I'm currently in school, and I think it completely sucks. Sure, I understand the need for the learning, but how is calculus related to me being a doctor? None of the relation, of course. 
I'd be more grateful if they offered de-facto schools where you can pick a career line. 

It taught you how to read, write, draw, speak properly, and even how to TYPE, yes, it is pretty useful, grueling at times, but it pays off in the long run

There's no doubt you need school, but in my experience, so many teachers seem so aloof and disinterested with teaching that your not really sure if your learning what you need to when you need to. I just finished my first year of college, and i almost failed simply because i wasn't taught the correct MLA format i needed.  School can be a great place,  but with so many teachers just putting out work for the sake of work, i often wonder how much of what i've been "taught" will be actually be of some use to me.

Unless you don't mind amounting to nothing in life, having a job in fast food, and raising 5 children without any money then schools important. If not, go ahead and enjoy your minimum wage job at McDonalds. At least you'll be able to sneak some Big Macs.

School isn't that bad for me. In fact, sometimes funny things happen at school. Also, I get to hang out with my friends there. A place to learn and hang out is what I call it. However, some courses can be not as fun as the others.

School is one of the most important things in life. Yeah, it can be a pain at times, but it helps far more than you realize in the long run.

Homework is what does you in, but school is not all that bad, besides bad teachers. Last year my algebra teacher ruined the course, I didn't learn anything.

I don't think school is a waste of time, I think it's a way to test your abilities in subjects and improve on the ones your not really good at.

I despise school.   The cookies served at there taste like , gym is really hard, I have to wake up very early, sometimes, the homework just comes in stacks, I only get 30 minutes to eat, the bathrooms smell like, and I can hardly pay attention in math class.   The good things about school are that you can see bad words written in the bathrooms (there's a really bad word written behind one stall door in my school, and that stall was my favorite.) and you sometimes see classmates get in trouble and in fights (at the primary school, on the playground, I enjoyed watching wood chip fights).
I was exited about middle school until the middle of the year, I started hating middle school and missing the primary school.
Despite me hating school, I'm a straight A student, I won my team 1st place in battle of the books after losing against Coeburn for years, and last year, at the awards ceremony, and I was one of the 2 students that won an award for 3 perfect SOL scores.
These are some of the things where school can get you.   So school can be nasty at times, but it can be rewarding in the end.

I loved school maybe its because i had some funny and entertaining friends that made every day count. I was sort of a trouble maker so i had something to do all the time XD lol.

I hated school.

The one thing I loved about it was gym class, and interaction with my friends.

I was frequently bullied, even in high school, basically a social reject, not the most intelligent or gifted kid, and I basically had to sit through 12 years of hell.

I didn't like it.

I've always been a straight A student, and I've known more about certain subjects than my teachers have. School is horrible, teaches hardly anything I can't learn from a Wikipedia page, and doesn't prepare kids for the harshness of life, such as being pooed on by the world and how no one really cares that you were class president. School is just a way for kids to learn how to live under the rule of those that are supposedly their superiors. The one thing that pisses me off the most about school is teachers and principals that think because they're older that they are somehow above the students. Teachers can basically give you detention if they're having a bad day, even if you've done nothing wrong. Man, I just hate everything about school.

It passes time. Honestly, if I could take an online school I would, but my mom would go crazy. I really don't care either way about it.
