NES game remakes

 
should NES make remakes of old NES games whenever i hear people talking about wether or not a new game should come out as an NES remake. i start thinking. what exactly does that intale? is it a good idea? are NES games best left where they are? where do you guys stand on this

I think it is a good idea to remake some of the classic games. I like how Nintendo re-released some of these games over Wii Shopping channel, and how they are releasing N64 re-makes for the 3DS. And I like this not merely for the improved graphics.

Since many of these games and consoles are collectables many other people are unable to buy, or even find, the old equipment. So these re-releases are the only way newer fans of Nintendo can actually appreciate the classics --of course these same fans may not be aware that Vizzed exists.

There is a fusion game that came out once that I really loved back then.  Double Dragons and Battle Toads, I would love to see a full rebirth on that one!  I namely loved the Battle Toads for their anime like expressions in the game and how half the time they can't stay on their speeder bikes.

Well it depends entirely on the game, and what the remake would mean. If you mean a graphical upgrade, only if it is necessary to improve the game, but try to keep it in 8 bit style if possible. Some games that have serious flaws could easily have those flaws fixed and made modern classics, like Street Fighter 2010 (fix the controls and the time limit and it could easily be a gem of the nes library), Dick Tracy (fix the snipers) could have been a fun mystery-action game, and fix a few minor flaws in Castlevania 2.

I've been hoping for a remake of Final Fantasy 6, mainly for the small amount of friends who are kind of turned off by the SNES graphics but need to experience the epic scale of the story.

Hands down, best Final Fantasy in my opinion.

For the case of NES game remakes I think it would be cool to see a remake of River City Ransom.
