For those of you who have wider screens, you're probably familiar with the left side bar on the game pages which recommends games based on the game page you're on (for example, on a pokemon game, it'd probably recommend other pokemon games). Anyways, before the recommended games were in text, now they're displayed with images. I'm hoping this grabs people's attention better. The only draw back to this is that it shows less results now but I think it's worth it.

I noticed this today, it really stood out. It does draw the eyes more, and gives you a better idea of what the game is past it's title. I really like it, it was a great idea!

BTowns : Ultimately my goal is to make it so users are always finding games to play. I don't want users to get to a point where they can no longer find any games they're interested in, I think this might help solve that problem for some. And with this, I have the games displaying in gameplay screenshots rather than box art or title screen (which is what is used to display games most of the time anywhere else).

I had never noticed a related games bar before. I like the added pictures. The only problem I have with it is that I originally thought it was an advertisement for another site. At first glance, this box of related games in the left column is pretty much the same size as the Ad box that's in the right column. When I look closer I can see that the text resembles RGR text, but I think newbies may just dismiss it as another ad.

On the current game page you have:

I think it might be better off if it was laid out like this:

The stuff in blue is what I moved. Everything in black stays the same.

This way the games would look like they are meant to be part of the page rather than being in a little column off to the side. I also have a wider screen and it's still getting slightly cut off. The people with smaller screens may not notice it at all.

BNuge : That's why you get yourself some adblocker, man. Do you have Firefox? You can just get a plugin for that I believe.

I didn't realize moving the ads while keeping them at the same total area would still cost money. Sorry about that then.

NotJon : I use Chrome. Firefox and IE are both too slow and I'm on Vista so I don't need anything extra to slow down my computer.

BNuge : The left side isn't a very high earning spot and also that specific area doesn't appear for 25% of people since it gets cut off on monitors which are 1024 pixels wide. I've spent months moving around ads and finding how I can get the most money out of the ads and the way it's set up right now, they're probably in the best money making spots and also well positioned enough to flow with the page.

I noticed this earlier this morning. It's a good idea--less games with images are better than multiple games that you might not know what they are unless you clicked all of them.
