This is one unhappy thread and I am sorry for anyone suffering this terrible illness.

I have had it in the past and the thought of it scares me so much.

The stomach ache, the fever, the cramps and yes the ...........

please, please, please.... if there is anyone out there who knows how to manage bad diarrhoea and help it pass, hopefully without recourse to a doctor, then let me know.

infact if you had to see a doctor because of it, how did they help you?

I'd suggest you start by drinking a lot of water. You can get dehydrated from excessive pooping. Drink lots of water and call the doctor. you'll get better suggestions from him than anyone on this website.
