Things been changing way too fast,
The way I think is in the past,
Never forget the things I've done,
Or the times we've spent in the summer sun.

I'll never forget the memories we've made,
And never forget all those times we've played,
The time has come to move on from those days,
The light is dimming like that of the evening rays.

Time is moving too quickly,
We will go down our different paths,
The times we've had were so swell,
But we both knew things would never last.

Things have changed for you and I,
We've grown older, taller, wiser, and apart.
Things have changed for I and you,
We've changed our views and marked ourselves.

The time has come to break apart,
To be figments of the past,
The time has come to change our paths,
Because we can't share this road anymore.

I have gone down the path to darkness,
From that of which I will not return,
And you down a radiant well lit path,
But one you are not confident in.

Is it funny that I have more faith in this dimlight,
Than you do in your brightest days?
How is it that I see things develop easier,
Even though your the one who pays attention?

Does it even matter anymore?
Will we ever speak again?
Maybe our paths will meet again,
Or just end up being one big loop.

The world is big,
Yet all so small,
And you and I,
Are just ants.
