That is a good question.
Like The Beatles sang: "All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
All the lonely people, where do they all belong?"
Truth is, as hard as it is to agree with it when someone's heart IS broken, that it will pass. Something/someone new will take the place. But as I see it - it depends on the person. Do we let the new good in or do we hold on to the past because we are afraid to get hurt again.
EDIT: and oh, what I wonder is that why I can't stop wondering and wandering. I look my old classmates and people who have drifted through my life OR those who still are in my life, they settle down, have kids, have jobs, and then there's me - aimless and couldn't picture myself settling down, because there's so many things I still don't know, so many places to go, things to do, people to meet.
Restlessness is terrible!
