I don't like my sister. We don't really get along very well. She seems to be everything that I dislike in one. And yet, she has some qualities that I like for a person to have. At the end of the day - when we're not fighting - I guess I can say that even though I may not like her, I love her. After all, aren't love and hate merely opposite sides of the same coin? But I digress...

Now it's your turn. Tell me about your sister. Maybe if you get into detail, I will too.

I don't have a sister, or a brother for that matter. I was adopted too. And I don't know my biological parents either. So I could have a sister. But I don't know her at all.

Robert7 : So you don't have an adoptive sister I presume? I wonder what that's like. My first memory that I think that I recall is of rubbing my mother's stomach when she was pregnant with my sister. I was 2.

I have three.

All three are half sisters.

I haven't seen 2 of them in 10 or so years.

My other one treats me like garbage, but whatever, it is actually ok. I love my sister and I know she loves me too, we just don't show it. When I told her about this site she was like, uh no way, get out, and she never logged on. So she missed out.

legacyme3 : That's too bad. I remember when my sister was just a wee lass. She could barely speak and she was so cute. She looked like a pudgy China Doll. And from this came her eternal nickname from my father, Chubby. But to have not seen your sister in over a decade? I can't imagine. I might actually like mine if I hadn't seen her for ten years lol

the_casualty : Ooh I'm jealous. I remember being around 5 maybe and my sister and I were fighting over these two pig toys that we had. I remember that we fought over the cooler pink one while trying to give the other the less cool red one. I can't completely recall what happened to settle the whole thing. I think I said that I let her play with the pink one, but I probably took it when she wasn't looking. She usually forgets stuff like that to this day so usually when we finish fighting, I just take things and enjoy them.

NotJon : Well, sometimes I wish I had siblings like that. It'd keep me entertained, at least.

I have two sisters on my mom'side and I don't talk to the my father or is family though I know I do have more siblings.

My older sister is three years older than me.When we were kids we got along well.We had normal sibling fights.But when my sister started puberty that when it all went down hill.She and I fought like two rabid monkeys battling over a half eaten banana.She was becoming a moody,pms-ing teen and I still an annoying kid.Even when we were both teens we didn't get on that well because we're polar opposites.To make matters worse we always shared a room,at one point we even shared a bed.Now that she and I are older we're really good friends.I want to make it clear at no time did I ever hate my sister,I've always loved her.

My little sister is eight years younger than me.She's always been this adorable chubby cheek angel covered in a bazillion freckles.I've always gotten along with her.She's almost a teenager now and she gets into these little moods that just make you want to hit her and top of the head with a rolled up newspaper.I'm sure I've acted that way too though.....you never seem to notice it when it's yourself.

What we really need to talk about is brothers.I got two of those too.One seven years younger,one eleven years younger.Nothing compares to walking into the kitchen and seeing your brother baking your barbies on a cookie sheet at 500 degrees because you made him mad.Or the other one drawing on your brand new pair of white shoes with dark green marker.

NotJon : Wish I could answer the question but unfortunately I don't know any of my half sisters.

But I have 3 half sisters (from my fathers side) who I've never met but I am aware of.
The only relationship we have is on facebook and the phone every now and then. Barely, actually. All 3 are sisters, and live together in Ohio.....I've been asked to visit but feel awkward and uncomfortable...remind you, I never met them in the 22 years of my life.

Yeah, I'm an only child too (like many other people here). I do have a little brother who lives with my dad though, so technically I'm not an only child but I live with my mom and I only see him about every other week/month. He's 4, and I don't have any sisters.

I have two half brothers we grew up together but now they live far away.

Me and my sister get along good shes 6 years older then me. She has 4 kids and she used to be a model but she quit after the wanted her to go to a diffrent country plus she had a c-section with her first kid. She met allen jackson the country singer while she was a model she served him drinks.

I have one little sister. She's 6 years younger than me (She turned 11 this past September) and I simply don't like her at all. She has always been super spoiled with a big mouth. If I told her not to touch/use my stuff, she'd do it and say "it's a free country so get the eff off my back" Now she lives in Mexico with my mom and I'm SOO happy to be away from that little brat. My boyfriend says she takes after me....But I don't see it. And my parents always took her side for everything. She was such a drama queen, too. She had no sense of humor and never knew how to be a good sport. GOD I am SO glad to be 1000 miles away from her!!!!!!! I wouldn't be able to stand her for another second now that she's going through puberty. >.<

sophielove23 : I don't like my sister either. I wouldn't really call her spoiled, but, she is very loud, spiteful, and on occasion (many occasions) can be very phony.

Crono's sister just so happens to be on this website. But, for those of you who don't know her she is known as "Rockstarkitten". She's cool, stubborn, short-tempered, and lazy. XD, sure those are the bad things, but she's a cool person/sister. She's definitely someone you'd like to have with when you're stuck in a chatroom. That's why Crono loves her.

Crono : I just realized how much I like your name! It's nice to see good brothers on here (unlike myself). My sister is not that bad I guess, I don't wish for anything bad to happen to her (and if I do I'm usually kidding).

NotJon : Well your sister is OLDER than you. Your parents don't expect you to take care of her (Like I used to have to when she was still here in Vegas) and she'd go into your room even though you told her NOT to and mess up/break your stuff and not even act sorry about it. And your parents never forced YOU to clean HER room. Yeah. It's different when you have YOUNGER siblings. >.<
