I've been restless,
I have had no sleep
Running on caffeine,
And late night adrenaline

Foggy nights, and rainy stupors,
Cold winds blow, and heat waves thicken,
The tides beat on, rhythymatically,
Beating with the tune of solace.

The cold nights grow longer,
The warm days grow shorter,
The people are the same,
The love unchanged thus far,

The woolen natures,
Of our soft beating hearts,
Beats on the same, da dum, da dum,
Although it is also a divider,

We stay the same throughout the seasons,
We just gain new attire,
We don our fur coats, hats, and mittens,
And let us grow warm in the face of cold

The people stay the same,
The hearts stay ever true,
I just hope I can share one night,
In this cold desolate solace with you.
