Kirbymon here. This thread is about telling me some of your worst video game moments. Here's mine:


I once was playing Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (Not in the RGR, I was using an actual system), and the game froze. It froze often, so I wasn't afraid, but when I got to the file select screen, I saw my data was gone! I always freak out when my data gets erased, and this was pretty darn upsetting. I mean, that file was over 50% complete. My mom said that the game was probably defective, and that we had to return it. It was disappointing, as I only had the game for less than 3 days. To this day, whenever I think about Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, I think of this horrible event.


There was some good that came out of this, however. After we returned the game, my mom said that I could get a replacement game. I chose Kirby Air Ride, which is a great game!

oh yea same thing happened to me except it was in super mario sunshine

I think it had happened already to any gamer. Same thing to me, but was a 80% complete Final Fantasy

Mine was HALO 2 because the gamplay has an awful lot of glitches espesially in the last level in the part were i fight the mohawk brute. I always die from jumping of cliffs accidentally when it frezzes so i threw it away.

this is very annoying but I had to laugh long played yoshi island and then I lock the game (that's not bad) resets it and put in a strange language and then resets it again and heading all clear all and just when I was in the last world to the other at 100% just missing that.

mine was when i allowed my brother to play on my kingdom hearts file. i finally got the ultima weapon but he turned the game of while i was saving so i lost all my data and had to start over

I had 100 percent complete on vice city and then my little brother saved his game over my file.

I got angry with Ocarina of time once and throwed the controller down on my toe!!OUCH!!
Ive hurt my hand a bunch too from hitting the arm of my chair while playing games.

I could rant about this until I am blue in the face, so I'll give you the short version.

I hate the Battle Tower from Pokemon Diamond. I do hours of thorough research into making the best team I can possibly make right down to the EV points, but once I get to the boss of the tower, I get my butt handed to me. Even if I do manage to beat him, I get my butt kicked before I get to round two with him. So hours of research and preparation go right down the stinking toilet. I'm sure there are a few of you who agree.

This has been another opinion/rant courtesy of an honest guy seeking justice in a world gone mad.

i was playing pokemon firered and i thought that seaking was inpossible to cath(took me an hour to find out)so I USED MY MASTER BALL ON IT. Totally bad idea.

I was playing pokemon Emerald and this same thing happened. I was just sitting their and then the game froze. I was like well then, because this happened all of the time so it was nothing new. Then when I turned it off then back on my file with all but 2 pokemon was gone. I tried to send it back but they did not take it. So I burned it after I smashed it. I have yet to like pokemon as much after that happened. That was what made me say good bye pokemon!

Generally it would be me falling off and messing up.

I'd say the worst moment for me was when I was playing FF7. I hadn't saved in a while and I was flying towards the Gold Saucer. Well I got distracted by something and I looked away from the screen, but I still had my finger on the x button. I didn't realize how low I was flying to the ground either. Now remember, I hadn't saved in a while and I'd leveled my characters up about six levels. Well because my stupid butt wasn't watching what I was doing I accidentally crashed right into Ruby Weapon. Needless to say he pwned me and I lost all of my progress too. *facepalm* I hate Ruby Weapon. With its redness and its powerfulness.

I was young and playing Tarzan. I hard a very hard time winning a stage. I took me 3 weeks but I was right about to win. Just 2 seconds more and I would win, but then all the electricity disappeared. It took me 2 YEARS to get that far again.

I have a Yu-Gi-Oh game which I had finally completed to 100%. A little while later, when I was playing it, all of my save data disappeared. I was ticked, but when I was playing it one time, my old save file suddenly came back out of nowhere. I have no idea how it happened, but I was excited to have it back. The same thing happened to me in a similar Yu-Gi-Oh game in the RGR.

ok so i was plaing pokemon hg and i got relly far on it (not on a new game)and i turd it off and forgot to save so i had to gat all thas speshul pokemon agan!

Once, while I was playing super mario land here on vizzed, I had like 7 lives left. Then, I kept falling down a pit and getting beat by enimies, and I lost all my lives. That can be real frustrating.

When I was younger, I was really into Mario Party Games(I still like them). I was mad after losing a close match to the computer, who was set on Very Hard. I decided I'd improve my mood by killing the computer on Easy. I was the one that got killed, by 10 stars!

I was playing Borderlands on my PS3 and when I went to take cover between a wall and an object, I suddenly fell through the ground and killed me which obviously costs me a hefty sum of money to respawn.

I had a bit over 30 hours in FF XIII and my PS3 died and I lost my save.... I was just getting to where the game opens up and I liked the game in general too.
