There have been a ton of Batman shows up til' today, with the most recent I know of being The Brave and the Bold. My fave is the original Batman: The Animated Series, but they all have their strentghs. What's your opinion?

I'mma let you finish, but George Clooney was the worst Batman of all time. Seriously, that movie was a travesty.

I'd have to agree with you about the original animated series; I remember watching it as a kid, and it was very well done. A few episodes with Scarface (I think that was his name?) actually frightened me when I was little, which is something Batman should do. Sure, it may have been too dark for a children's show, but that's what I liked about it. Without the fear element, Batman is just a guy running around in a weird suit (*cough* the Adam West Batman).

Erm...I think the supernerd was talking about which Batman SHOW was the best, not which actor was best. But anyway, I'll list both just in case I'm wrong.

I think the best Batman show was Batman: The Animated Series. It was just pure awesome.

And the best actor who played Batman was probably Michael Keaton in my opinion.

Batman with the Justice League in particular was the best because they have a variety of characters and villians..but Batman and Superman were the main characters!

Best Batman show is the Animated series..you know, the one with Mark Hamill as the truly twisted Joker.

As for films..Christian Bale has just nailed the character. say what you will about his personality, he is a dynamite actor who owns Bruce Wayne.

My fave Batman cartoon has to be The Animated Series.

Batman Beyond was also an interesting take on the Batman series, though.

However, I do like The Brave and The Bold. It takes ideas and stories from the 60s and 70s comics and gives them a twist with more modern characters like the kid Blue Beetle and Guy Gardner.

Favorite movie Batman has to be Keaton.

Bale was good under the cowl in Begins and TDK, but Heath Ledger pretty much made TDK happen with his portrayal of the Joker. Ledger does not compare to Mark Hammill, though.
