I just got 7 fishies and more are on the way!!! 2 are spotted catfish, 2 more are tiger oscars, and 3 of them are all jewel cichlids. I got excited until i found out that the jewel cichlids repeatedly nibble on other fish's fins. I'm sooo mad because now, they killed off 2. First an electric blue jack dempsey then an albino tiger oscar!!! Then, i got another albino and it was strong enough to take those cichlids on. But it got overfed and then died. Then i got 2 tiger oscars and they fend off pretty well against the jewel's. Only problem is the jewels won't back down and are constantly nibbling at my other fish. If this keeps on, then the one that they r targeting might end up like my 1st and 2nd fish. (they died from being stressed from the jewels) Anybody got suggestions?

I think that it would probably be the safest thing to do to go ahead and move them to another tank, if you have another tank. They also might just be hungry and need some food so keep them well fed!

If the fish tend to be aggressive I wouldn't recommend putting them in the same tank again even if the other ones get bigger. To help mend their fins that have been nibble on (or heal any other wounds from the fishy fights) I do recommend buying a bottle of Melafix.
