When the day drags on I'll start telling myself jokes. As a hobby I started to make comic strips out of them. Hope you enjoy. If anyone has a funny drawing/comic strip they made, I encourage you to post them here to share.

The Comic is called Random Attempts @ Funny. I've got a page on Facebook under that name showing all the strips I've done this past little while. If you have a Facebook account you can go check it out. Some are good, some not so. I'll leave it up to you to decide

Daemonhawk : Did you draw those? If you did, did you make it on the computer or scan it or how did you get it one here? Finally good find / make!

The characters I draw out on paper, I have to use a camera to transfer the image onto the computer because my scanner and new computer are not on speaking terms right now. Since I'm not very computer savvy I was using MS Paint to redraw the lines (with a mouse that's a bit tricky), but a friend got me trying GIMP to do the new comics (still working out all the this and that's of the program).

Then I cut/paste the characters onto a background that I either ripped from the internet or took a picture myself. The first comic's is a picture of the Kung Fu club I used to go to before I moved. The previous is a picture of my living room. This one is a picture of a Burger King in Arizona or someplace.

Since my drawing didn't have a lot of detail to them I liked how the contrast between them and the colourful background made. Currently I'm playing around with using coloured pencils to give my characters some colour and depth (I don't use computer shading mostly because I don't have the time or patience to do that)

So yeah, sorry for the long winded explanation for something so straight forward. As a side note I'm sorry for not putting more that one comic up at a time. The img /img thing doesn't seem to want to work for me (that whole computer savvy thing again).

That one is really fun keep up the great work with the art and comic strips I like the mario one and the ninja work one were he fails to disspear you are quite good at these and they make me laugh of course.

Here's one of my favorite's from Gary Larson's Far Side this one was made in 1985 this one made me laugh and made me think of a monty python airplane skit that had my side hurting as I laughed hard.

Far Side was one of my favourite comics when it was out. The comics that have tried to take it's place just don't seem to measure up in my mind.

This comic here is the #1 of Random Attempts @ Funny. Something my friends and I always joked about when we were kids.

Though there are times (like this next one) where the scenery end up obscuring the characters, so I have to opt out sometimes (muahahaha I think they fell for it. No one will know I was too lazy to find a proper background).
