Could be a few things.
You could have a bit of dirt stuck there.
You could have irritated it somehow.
A bug like a mosquito could have bit you.
Or you could have the start of a cold or even conjunctivitis (irritation of the eye).

Rinse your eyes out with some warm water and if it's still annoying you after a few more days you could always go see the doctor for their opinion.

No, it wasn't humid at all, and I was inside all day. I was in the basement when it happened, and there's not much pollen or anything floating around right now, we had all that a couple months ago. I didn't really try any new foods, all I had eaten that day was a chickpea sandwich and some potato chips. I'm not allergic to anything really, except for getting a stuffy nose around cats and dirty dogs. The thing with my eye is a stye, so it isn't itchy anymore, it just hurts. It'll go away after a week or so, most likely.
