I'm usually a lurker on any forum site unless I have something relatively important to say. Partly because I can't be bothered to make a reply that won't need more than a half-dozen words; but mostly because it's too much trouble to make sure people don't take what I type out of context. If you have to explain the joke it isn't funny and sarcasm doesn't carry over well in text.

Let's see...I was in the living room with my cousin(gamefreak1492) and our friend (MistressExperience) while Mistress was playing Re:Chain of Memories and the three of us discussed the finer points of the game and 'Cloud the Disgruntled Swordsman'. We had obviously been watching too much Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged but MistressExperience was level grinding again and gamefreak and I needed something to keep us entertained during the lack of story progression. Gamefreak was already registered on vizzed and playing pokemon. So since the only thing more tedious than MistressExperience's need to level grind in any game is my own compulsion to collect every item, earn every trophy, master every skill, unlock every unrelated side-quest, and generally achieve 100% completion in any game I play I decided trying to 'catch them all' should keep me occupied for awhile.
And thus it was that gamefreak1492 did induct the members of MistressExperience and thegoodnamesarealltaken! into the wonderful world of vizzed. Huzzah.

So I am in my early 20's and joined to indulge in my obsessive collectors compulsion, when I remember to save properly. 12 hours wasted playing pokemon silver because I forgot that the in game save didn't work and that I had to double click the screen. Sorrow. I picked my name because every time I go to join an online community I've gone through a few dozen names before I found one that no one else was using; this way I can skip the whole identity crises and blame everyone who got here first for 'stealing' all the good user names.

LOL! this is probably one of the best posts i've read since i found this site. nice to meet you and welcome to the best retro gaming family in the entire cyberworld. dont forget to scope the retro toons too!!

Thank you, Killakari, I'm glad to have been able to entertain someone. I definatly won't miss out on the toons. I'm looking forward to some Batman Beyond and some Sonic. Good Sonic with an overarching storyline, not the 'Adventure of the Day' episodes that have nothing to do with each other I can sort of remember staying up until 6am for way back when.
Actually, I can vaguely remember about half of the shows listed but alas...no Gummi Bears.

yeah, the "adventure of the day" eps don't really even tie into each other, much less the other seasons. and good for you! checking out the FAQs. in my short lived exp, there are more newbs that are t-totally clueless about everything, than ones who actually read what they are supposed to first. so, good job!! lol.
