Every game has a story. The question is which would be best or worst to make into a movie. My vote for best game turned into movie would be kingdom hearts. That game had an epic storyline that kept me involved. The worst game to turn into a movie would definitely be the burger king games they released for a short period of time.

I think metal gear solid would make a awesome movie. The worst i could think of would be a movie based off the board game candyland.

Worst game into movie has got to be tetris. Davideo7 showed me a trailer for a fake Tetris movie and wow it was bad lol. Not really much of a plot either. My favorite is still Mortal Kombat, but if there were a game that should be made into a movie I would say... duke nukem or maybe serious sam. I could actually see Arnold playing either one of those considering he is best at saying 1 liners that make you laugh.

Actually metal gear solid is already made into a movie its called Escape from NY and Escape from LA... Not 100% sure of the whole story but the characters name is Snake Plissken. Maybe its just a coincidence I really have not researched it at all.

JigSaw : I'm not a hundred percent certain but I think that the movie came before the game. They are definitely connected. Too many similarities to be a coincidence. On second thought that wouldn't be MGS but the NES games called Metal Gear, which is just me being picky since it's the same series XD I'll look into that.
Edit: After looking into it I found out that the movie Escape From New York (1981) came out before the game Metal Gear (1987). They have nothing in common really except for the main characters. I think that the creators of MGS just based there character after Pliskin from the movie. I also discovered that they are in the process of making a MGS movie. I like my gaming trivia lol


I think Assassin's Creed would make a good movie. I know they have that mini series thingy for it but that wasn't too good and a movie would be epic.

Worst game to movie would be Minesweeper. There's a trailer for it on youtube somewhere lol.

In Crono's opinion, the worst Game into a Movie would be: "Pong". Seriously, a movie that'll just have to platforms sliding up and down and a ball moving left to right, not amusing. The best would be a tie between The Legend of Zelda and Assassin's Creed. They wouldn't seem difficult to make, unlike a Kirby or Sonic movie.

One of the Grand Theft Auto games can turn into a good movie, filled with action and adventure. The main chracter can get himself into a hit-and-run, blow up a chopper, and steal a police car too. I don't know about the plot though, it could be exciting, but creepy at the same time.

I think that a good game that makes into a bad movie is Mario. Just to watch a 2 hour movie of Mario just killing Goombas and the turtles sounds too boring. Maybe Sonic would also help him, which make it more interesting. If it turns out to be a cartoon movie, I might watch it, but I think I will get bored of it. I might be excited towards the end when he vs. Bowser.

BreakDown : You didn't know? They already made a Mario movie back in the late 80s or early 90's XD

GTA movie would be pretty bad but if one does get made I think the only guy for the job would be Martin Scorsese, he is great at making those types of movies that involve lots of drugs, bad language, and violence.

In my opinion I Think The World Ends With should be a Anime/Movie.
I know it was made by Square Enix as well as Kingdom Hearts, But The World Ends With You
has the best storyline I have see and read and thats saying something because am somewhat of a cidick.

I concur with Dand, I believe Squarenix should make a Kingdom Hearts movie it would be amazing, but possibly not have it just T but rater M, becuase of bloodshed and language haha, also i would enjoy seeing a Fire Emblem movie thats animated becuase Fire Emblem is a great game and show people transforming with their respected Cresets and Seals

I would like to watch an Assassin's Creed full movie, or a Yu-Gi-Oh. Because I like playing those games, I'm sure that I'll enjoy also some movies based one them.

Zamiel : & JigSaw: Yea I had seen both of those movies and I had noticed the similarities in the character names, but the story didn't match up with the game. I also never looked it up, but luckily Zamiel took care of that already .

I think the best game to be turned into a movie would be Ty the Tasmanian Tiger. The worst would be a war game like call of duty. I hate those games. But the war game resistance fall of man is good.

God of War should definately have its own movie for sure. Kratos would be slashing and hacking his way towards Mount Olympus on his Vendetta against the gods. Imagine Kratos killing his enemies in style and his personalized finishing moves. God of War certainly deserves its own movie after all Kratos earned it.
