Lately, my Firefox seems to keep locking up. I looked it up, and it turns out a lot of people are having the same problems with the new version of Firefox. I have tried using Internet Explorer again, but for some reason, the Vizzed plug-in and Adobe Flash aren't working on it, but still work on Firefox. Does anyone have suggestions how I could get them to work on IE?

Maybe reinstall on Ie thats really the only thing I could think of. Firefox might just have some corrupted files when you downloaded it suggestion for that is wait it out for the new version.

Try uninstalling them, then open up IE. Download and reinstall the plug-in, and see if that works. Not sure if it will but it might.
