Paper Mario introduced us to a lot of characters. In fact, a lot of the characters have become mainstays in the Mario franchise. Paper Mario introduced us to the 7 elite star spirits. Muskular is one of the 7 star spirits that watches over the star rod, so lets learn about him.


Musular is a star that is one of the 7 elite star spirits. His origins are unknown but it is likely he was born as a star kid. It is unknown how he became an elite star spirit. The most likely scenario is that Eldstar chose him to be one of the elite. It is referenced that he is one of the younger elite star spirits implying he may have been recently chosen. Regardless, he resides in Star Haven with the other elite star spirits.

His main role appears to watch over the Star Rod/Star Beam along with his fellow elite star spirits. He also helps grant wishes just like his colleagues. For him and his colleagues to grant a wish the character must have good intentions, be non selfish, and have good morale character. It is shown that the elite star spirits seem to call star kids to be stars.

One day, Bowser and his army did the unthinkable. Bowser and his minions stole the star beam. The reason was the elite star spirits were not granting Bowser wishes such as for Peach to like him, for him to be more powerful, more famous, and be ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. He also imprisoned the star spirits including Muskular, who was given to General Shy Guy to guard. When Mario reaches Star Haven Muskular and other other star spirits use their last power to explain the crisis. After Mario frees Muskular and his other star spirits they help him defeat Bowser. He is last seen having his power restored and residing in Star Haven.

Appearance- He is a blue star and seems to have a connection to ice. He wears a sailor hat with stripes on it.

Personality- His name is a play on the word muscular. He enjoys working out and is strong. He is also full of energy. He also is shown to be pretty laid back. After Bowser stole the star rod him and Eldstar were one of the few energetic ones. Moreover, he is optimistic as he believed that Mario could recover and defeat Bowser.

Abilities- Once his power is restored he can give Mario his chill out ability. Mario can use him to freeze enemies draining an enemy's hit points by 3 or 5 points. As I stated he can help in granting wishes.

Allies

Mario- Him and his other elite star spirits believe Mario to be the last hope and worthy. He knows that Mario has good intentions. Him and his others help Mario in his quest.

His colleagues- He is close to the other elite star spirits and they look after each other like siblings. He looks up to EldSatr

Twink- He likes Twink's personality. Twink also helps him in the end.

Peach- Him and the other star spirits consider Peach to be noble, morale and worthy.

Mario Party Members- He gets along with all the Party Members as they assit Mario in his quest.

Enemies

Bowser- He finds Bowser's latest antic disgusting calling him a fiend and evil. He also states how Bowser is selfish in nature that is why his wishes were not granted.

General Shy Guy- Even though the general was acting under Bowser. He still imprisoned him in his Toy Box. Muskular states he is glad to be liberated.

Kamma Koopa- She Helped Bowser breach Star Haven, so he likely does not like her.

Overall, Muskular is a young elite star spirit. He is optimistic, and full of energy. He loves to work out and is strong. He is an important ally to Mario as his chill out can aid Mario in battle. He later appears in future mario games. This concludes his bio
