Tornado Tonion is a reploid, cyborgs with human traits, that first appeared in Mega Man X7. He is considered a tragic figure in the X series along with others. He became a maverick, reploids who pose a danger to the world, against his will. Anyway, lets learn about him.

Tornado Tonion was a member of Red Alert. Red Alert was a criminal and maverick hunting organization. They were more like vigilantes and not like the maverick hunters. While the Maverick Hunters hunted down criminals and mavericks they had laws to follow. Red Alert did not always follow the law as a result the two organizations did not respect one another. On the other hand, Red Alert kept criminal and maverick activity suppressed. Thus, they were seen as heroes. Even though the two organizations did not trust one another they respected each other.

Tornado Tonion was an officer in Red Alert. He was a communication expert and great at broadcasting. In addition, he was great at locating criminals. He also was good at combat. Everything was going well for him. Until Sigma under the alias the professor showed up. Sigma wanted Red to do his bidding. Red the leader, founder, and CEO of Red Alert refused Sigma. Sigma then started to infect Red Alert members including Tornado Tonion. Axle a high ranking officer in Red Alert saw what was happening and joined the Maverick Hunters. Red seeing what Sigma had done was forced to challenge the Maverick Hunters to a duel to get Axle back. Red really had no problem with Axle leaving but Sigma forced his hand. Red soon realized that he was going to die either by Sigma or the Maverick Hunters.

Tornado Tonion also knew what was going on, but was already infected. He and his soldiers under him took over a radio tower and start to jam signals. Instead Tonion would play annoying songs and make annoying broadcasts. Eventually X, Zero and Axle made their way to his tower. To all three surprise Tonion told them what was happening to him. He asked the three to kill him before he became violent. Despite asking, he put up a good fight, and was destroyed. The three hunters felt remorse for destroying him. After destroying him they also learned that Sigma had infected Red Alert.

Appearance- Tornado Onion is based off of an onion. He is one of the few mavericks not based off an animal of some kind. He appears to be a tall and bulky reploid. He appears to be white, green, and orange.

Personality- Before he was infected he was very playful. Onion loved to sing and dance outside of duty. He could also be child like. On the other hand, since he was an officer there was a serious side to him. He was very effective in combat and hunting down criminals. After getting infected he supported Axle choice leaving. In some versions of the game he states he wish he could have escaped too. The only thing that really changed after his infection was his sanity. He became more annoying by danging, singing, and broadcasting. On the other hand, he was aware he had been infected by asking the hunters to kill him before he became violent. This shows he had a sense of morality about him and was aware how his comrades had become more violent.

Abilities- He is great at communicating, broadcasting, and analytics. He has the ability to create tornadoes and generate electricity. He can also use his large size to his advantage. Despite his size he does have decent speed.

Attacks-Tornado Tionin has several powerful attacks- His most powerful attack is his volt tornado. He will create tornadoes that are full of electricity. The tornadoes not only can blow his opponent around but electrocute them as well. He can also do a tornado spin and throw sharp shards at his opponents. The shards can cut through almost anything. He can also use his shards to form a wall around him this is used for defense and offense purposes. Another powerful attack is when he uses his volt tornado and his shards together. When he does this attack he does massive damage to his opponents.

Weakness-He is weak to the Gae Shield. The Gae shield blocks his attacks and can also keep him from using his attacks. However, he is too powerful to be kept down for long.

If the player defeats him they will earn the powerful volt tornado.

Tornado Tonion- was a reploid who went maverick against his will. He is often considered a tragic figure in the Maverick Wars along with Storm Eagle, Magnet Centipede, Volt Catfish, Blizzard Buffalo, Neon Tiger, and the Skyver. He was also one of the few mavericks that knew he had been infected and asked to be killed in battle before he started to become very violent. This showed he had moral character about him, which makes his story even more tragic. He was also friends with Axle and supported Axle leaving. This is why Axle felt remorse in destroying him even though he knew he had too. X and Zero realizing he was a tragic figure also felt remorse. Despite asking to be killed he proved to be a powerful fighter due to his attacks. The only thing that changed was his singing, danging, and broadcasts became more silly. He was sad when nobody found his antics funny like they used too. This could be a sign he was in the early stages of his infection. This concludes the biography.
