Violen is a reploid, cyborgs with human characteristics, that first appeared in Mega Man X2. He was a maverick, reploids that pose a danger to the world, that was a member of the X Hunters. Today we are going to be learning more about him.


Violen was created by Sigma and served in the X-Hunters along with Agile and Serges. He was created by Sigma around the events of X1. After Sigma is defeated Violen and his comrades stage a revolt 6 months later. It is later revealed the Sigma had indeed come back and the X hunters were his generals.

His role in the X-hunters appears to be that of an enforcer. While Serges and Agile develop plans and spy on the Maverick Hunters. Violen carries out their orders with lots of destruction. While his comrades lead the maverick armies. Violen also leads his job is to cause as much destruction as possible. Later when the three of them build Zero's parts in their attempt to rebuild Zero. He attacks the Maverick Hunter base causing a lot of damage. He does this to lure X into a death trap. However, the X-hunters did not succeed in rebuilding Zero as a maverick. Instead Zero is rebuilt and restored as co-leader along with X in the Maverick Hunters.

Violen is first scene after the factory stage talking along with his comrades on how powerful X is. After X defeats two mavericks he appears again in a duel to get Zero's parts. After X defeats him he will state he will be back. He is seen for the last time in the X-hunter base and is the first X hunter fought. This time he fights X to the death. After a tough battle X destroys him for good.

Appearance- Violen has Red, Orange and Yellow Armor. His face is very chubby. He is also very heavy and bulky. He has a huge spike ball on his back that he uses to cause so much damage. He also has machine gun like weapons on his hands.

Personality- Violen is a very violent reploid and loves nothing more to do then cause mass destruction. He is also cocky and arrogant. He knows he is strong and very powerful. He takes his role as an enforcer very seriously. However, he is sometimes too arrogant. He believes he is so powerful that X cannot beat him, which leads to his downfall. Another downfall is that he does think logically at times he just uses violence.

Abilities- Violen is very heavy and bulky. His machine guns and spike balls can cause so much damage. He is capable of demolishing a base by himself without any support. Despite being bulky and heavy he can float in the air a little bit by hoovering.

Attacks- Violen has several powerful attacks. His main attack is using his spike ball. His spike ball can cause massive damage to not just his opponents by anyone who is around him even allies. As I stated he can demolish entire bases by himself. He also has a rapid fire machine guns that he can fire plasma shots at his opponents. He can also hoover in the air firing more machine gun plasma shots. Moreover, he also loves to use his weight and try to smash directly into his opponents.

Weakness- Violen sometimes is his own worst enemy. While he is dangerous and very powerful he is not very fast. In battle he can thinks he cannot be beaten which he is prone to making mistakes. Also unlike his other two comrades he fights the same after his first defeat. Serges and Agile changed their combat styles, but Violen did not. He appears to be weak to the Bubble Splash. Why the Bubble Splash is his weakness is unknown. Although, it could be maybe it shorts out his circuits.

He likes serving in his role as an enforcer while his other two comrades do planning and analyzing As I stated while he is very powerful he is not fast this can be used against him.
