Mega Man X2 is the sequel to Mega Man X1 or simply known as Mega Man X. Magna Centipede also known as Magnet Centipede is a reploid, robots who have human characteristics such as DNA, feelings, and the ability to think for themselves. Eventually he becomes a maverick, reploids, who pose a danger to the world, and appeared in X2. Lets learn about Magna Centipede.

Magna Centipede was built by Cain Labs. As his name implies he is based off of a centipede. Centipede was built to be a maverick hunter. He developed ninja skills that made him very good at combat. He also was very good with computers. These two factors allowed him to quickly rise in the Maverick Hunter Ranks. He eventually was promoted as an officer of the special 0 unit of the Maverick Hunters. The 0 unit often worked with the 17th unit. The 17th and 0 units were considered the elite units.

When Sigma went maverick he infected Centipede with his Sigma Virus. It was revealed that the Sigma Virus is a computer virus that infects reploids causing them to go haywire or become dangerous. Centipede was known a dangerous maverick. Impressed with his abilities Sigma upgraded him. He had always had his magnet mine weapon and his ninja skills. But now thanks to Sigma he could use his tail to draw opponents close to them so he can sting them weakening them or infecting them with the Sigma Virus.

Serving as an officer Under Sigma. Centipede was used as an assign due to his ninja skills. But his main job was to use his computer skills to spread the Sigma Virus across the globe. Given, how Sigma appears in his stage as the final showdown. It is possible that Sigma thinks highly of Centipede.

6 months after Sigma's defeat. Sigma's last followers are being tracked down. However, new Mavericks start showing up. Eventually X tracked Centipede down to his base were he was spreading the Virus. He was destroyed by X.

Appearances-Centipede has fuchsia armor with yellow plates. His tail is blue/purple. He has green orbitals that he can also throw at his opponents. In addition, he also has spikes on his back. He is also a tall maverick.

Personality- His personality is a mystery as he is a Ninja. However, as a maverick he was a ruthless, cold blooded killer who did not share any emotion. He was not afraid to destroy former comrades who were not mavericks. Once Sigma assigned him a job as a maverick he will stop at nothing to achieve it.

Abilities- Centipede has ninja skills he can teleport across the room. He can also briefly turn invisible. This is what made him a good hunter and also a top assign for Sigma when he became a Maverick. He can also fire his main weapon his magnet mine. He is also very skilled with the computer able to spread the virus via cyberspace. He is also very agile and fast.

Attacks-Centipede is a tough opponent. His ninja skills allow him to dodge attacks and to ambush his opponents. His main weapon as I stated is his Magnet Mine. Centipede will throw three magnet mines out. The Mines are also explosive and electric doing extra damage. Moreover, he can fire orbitals from his tail using them do damage. Another one of his main attacks is to pull the opponent toward him. This is were he will use his tail to sting his opponent or infect them with the Sigma Virus.

Weakness- His weakness is slick shot. The slick shot weapon breaks his tail up. It also messes his magnets up. The slick shot can break apart into smaller pieces. Therefore, it can hit him even when he disappears or turns invisible.

Centipede like some of the other mavericks was originally a maverick hunter who got infected by Sigma. Due to being a Ninja he is very fast and a tough opponent. He is also one of my favorites from X2 given how technically his weapon is kind of electric. This concludes the Centipede Bio
