Here's some brief TdV info:

Each day there will be 4 Jerseys you can compete for:
Yellow Jersey: Most words in a day
Blue Jersey: Most posts in a day
Red Jersey: Most CP in a day
Green Jersey: Most CP actions in a day

If you get 1st place in a Jersey for a day, you get to "wear" that Jersey the following day. To "wear" it means that the background of your username will have a unique background graphic. Only the top 5 places of each Jersey gets points, 1st gets 5 and 5th gets 1. Whoever has the most points for any Jersey at the end of the competition gets to wear that Jersey for the entire next month. If you have more than 1 jersey, your jersey receives stripes for each jersey color you own.

Along with the Jerseys are Banners that change your username color. They basically represent who has the most points total:
Rainbow Banner: Whoever has the most points so far in the competition
White Banner: New member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who has signed up in the past 3 months)
Gray Banner: Veteran member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who signed up more than 7 years ago)

Tour de Vizzed Rules:

You'll be DQ'd if:
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in one of the following forums: Crazy House, Vizzed Market, Polls and Questions, Video Game Craziness, Newbie Forum (unless posts are made in your own thread then it's 50%)
-You copy content from other websites or other posts
-You use the "tabbing" technique to make a bunch of posts in a short amount of time
-You're caught cheating or unfairly earning Contribution Points
-You're found to be reviewing games that you have not finished
-You post twice in a row on a thread
-Your posts are found to be below site standard to unfairly gain points or are completely off topic
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in the same thread (your own thread and staff threads are an exception)
-If 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day
-Staff members are not allowed to feature their own reviews during the Tour de Vizzed

Additionally:
If you get DQ'd just once from a Jersey, you can no longer get points for that Jersey for the rest of the month. We will be very strict from now on with the Tour de Vizzed. Only CP actions which you earned CP off of count toward the Green Jersey.

If you get DQ'd from too many Jerseys in too many TdV competitions, you'll be DQ'd from the TdV forever. Also, if you get DQ'd from a single Jersey in too many competitions, you'll be DQ'd from that specific Jersey forever.

Also, if 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day, you'll be DQ'd from the Yellow Jersey. Too many users have waited until the end of the day to submit a bunch of reviews to the site and that's unfair to users competing

Additional Tour de Vizzed Info:

Some CP actions only count as 1 per day. In other words, any action in the below list can only increase your Green Jersey points by 1:
Forum Navigation, Review Rated, User Referral Posted, Video Rated, Post Spell Checked, Visiting Vizzed, Screenshot Rated, Post, Game Commenting, Thread, Thread Reply, Chat Room Minute, Staff Forum Post, Staff Forum Thread and Screenshot Details Added.

These CP actions do not count toward the Green Jersey: Game Content.

Also the following types of threads have been restricted 1 post per day.
This Thread, ABC, Elimination, and Hangman style threads. Currently ask me anythings not restricted unless abused.

Each day there will be a specific CP action which will be worth doubled the points which benefits the Red Jersey competition. Below is a list of which actions are worth doubled on which days this month:

Good luck everyone. I may try to grab a jersey here and there, but not trying for rainbow this time around.

New year, new TdV. Last year the competitions saw a surprising increase in participation and activity, so let's hope we can keep the momentum into this month as well.

I won't have much free time, so I'll only score because I'm doing my thing whenever I have some time to spare. Still, I'd like to surpass the 2500 total points barrier during this competition, I'm not very far away from it so it could be perfectly feasible. Also, maybe give a try or two at obtaining my 50th Red jersey to achieve the last milestones I can reach in the short term.

sigh another TdV, another opportunity to get screwed over after taking a commanding lead despite staying up til midnight trying to retain it....I'm better off sitting out this time around because I work in January and my sleep is essential, also I don't have any reviews ready to go despite completing 3 You Don't Know Jack games (when I posted my review for the Ride I didn't realize I hadn't finished the game), sure I might submit a video tomorrow even though it won't count for anything, sure I might add some screenshots, maybe I'll do some ratings, but I'm scaling back posting wise because sometimes I can't tell which threads I spend too much time in

I feel bad that you've never won, and you've been competing hard. I will make sure to rate you're screenshots though, that'll help you out a bit, last TdV I was keeping Becky at bay, I'll do that I summer TdV.

I won't be competing just posting when I feel like it really, Also being from the UK I really do not feel like staying up until 6am every day thank you very much.

Dauntez: No one kept me at bay? Don’t ever poke the bear, didn’t people teach you that?

I’m not competing, or rather going hard for it since I’ve done what no one else had done and win TdV on a mobile device without any use of a computer or laptop, keep provoking me or say such blasphemy like “keeping Becky at bay”. I won through sheer pride and lax rules that admins should find ways to make it more strict. Though I will welcome Dauntez as the new TdV winner long as he stays within guideline rules.

I’ll make sure I will prepare for summer since everyone wants to say it loud instead of keeping it under wraps and I’ll announce it loudly too since that’s what everyone is doing


Edit: can I review demo discs? I don’t know if I can due to them being partial gameplay and a lot to cover plus they’re more of a showcase than actual games but doesn’t hurt to ask.

I'm back, Guess who is returning yes its the Tornado. I did well last Tour finished in the top 4. Don't know if I can do that this time around as I may not be able to devote as much time as I did the past one. The reason is I am now a married man. Mrs. Tornado comes first.

My wordy nature once again paid its dividends and allowed me to get a few points. Looks like competition will be fierce, even if it's just during these first days, so I'll have to make precise calculations of what I need to achieve my goals.

Finally another strong contender to win. Tornado gotta win this one, we believe in you.

tornadocam : you don’t win this one, you’ll be second place under “most user who placed second” with classgame. She’s basically the Buffalo Bills of this competition. Always there but never wins. Especially the 1991-1994 Bills where they went and lost all four superbowls. Don’t be the Minnesota Vikings where they lacked wins from 1973-1976 missing just one Super Bowl and losing three.

Must believe in yourself. For me, I don’t like being summoned, don’t summon me user unless it’s David. I’ve enjoyed yesterday’s activities and hopefully stays consistent throughout the year. If not let us hope Zachariah returns and makes threads for us to ravage upon. Poor fella.

hey I'm no Buffalo Bills, you tell us not to poke the bear (you referring yourself to the bear) and yet you keep poking me when I said I'm sitting out this time around I mean it aside from some screen shots ratings and submissions

Just a reminder for the nonlocals+ if you see a local+ post twice in a thread that is supposed to be one a day please report to us. So claytune or I can warn/potentially DQ if repeat offending. We can void posts and I believe also recalculate points for that day. Only saying this due to being that if you are local+ it overrides post limits that were set.

becerra95 : I know you also asked in private but trying to make it publicly known.

Demo discs can be reviewed just need to emphasize something is a demo.


Edit: Just to clarify. Report anybody you might be thinking is breaking the rules not just locals+. If they aren't we will explain why they aren't. If they are we will thank for the report and post about in the DQ thread.

For example. If Claytune is cheating or whatever report to me. If you think I am report to him.
