If you grew up in the 1980's and 1990's like me chances are you probably heard of Street Fighter. In the Early 1990's we got Street Fighter 2. Then Capcom released Super Street Fighter 2 the new challengers. This game is probably what most people think of when it comes to street fighter. Street Fighter 2 established the franchise. I decided I will be doing a guide of this great game.

Now, in my guide I will be doing a guide using Blanka, Sagat and E-Honda as those are the characters I mostly play as. I also will not be telling how to do moves in this game for several reasons. First, I have the controls set for me. Other people may use different buttons for their controllers. Second, if you need to you can google how to do the moves in this game. I think you can even download the manual if you need to. Also this is how I play the game what works for me, may not work for you. This is only a suggestion and guide. Anyway, here we go.

Blanka Playthrough boses are in no particular order. Blanka is one of the more fiercest fighters in the game.

Cammy- Cammy loves to kick and use her spear weapon. I have found the rolling attack to do well against Cammy. If she gets close to you, you can shock her or bite her. She will go down quickly.

Dee-Jay- He loves to throw his fireballs and kick. Use the rolling attack to keep him at a distance. If he moves close to you. You can uppercut him, shock him or bite him. You can also do an air kick against him. He will eventually go down.

T.Hawk- Hawk loves to close in on you which is actually what I like for him to do. Do not try to bite him as he will do his raging typhoon on you which does serious damage. Shocking him is the best way to earn a quick victory

Fei-Long- Don't do air kicks against him as he will knock you down. He also will grab you if you get close. Rolling attacks are the best way to knock him out. Also he can be prone to low uppercuts so use that to your advantage.

Zangief- He wants to get close to you to grab you. If you try to bite him. He will grab you and pile drive you. Rolling attack is good. Shocking him is also effective, just beware he can kick you while you are generating electricity so watch out for that.

Chun-Li- Okay Chun Li can be tricky to fight against as Blanka. If you try to get close to her she will use her lightning kick. She also loves to throw fireballs. Rolling attack is effective. If she does her spinning kick shock her.

Ryu- Ryu can be tough to fight against as Blanka. If you try to bite him he will upper cut you. Try an air kick against him he will knock you down. He loves to throw fireballs. Use rolling attack to keep him at bay. If he gets close to you, you can try to shock him.

Ken- See Ryu above

Dhalism- Dhalism loves to use his stretch arms to keep you at a distance. His long arms can also disrupt the shock attack. Use rolling attack for a quick win.

E Honda-E Honda is one of the easier opponents for Blanka. You can bite him, use rolling attacks, and shock him. Honda is prone to the shock attack. Use all of these for a quick victory.

Guile-Guile actually wants you to get close to him so he can do his flash kick. He is good at knocking you down if you try to do air attacks. His Sonic Boom can also be trickly. However, rolling attacks work well against him.

Balrog- Balrog is going to punch you if you get close. Use the rolling attack or shock attack as he is prone to them.

Vega- Vega is very prone to the shock attack. In fact he knocks his claw off. When he climbs the fence use the shock attack

Sagat- Now for a real batter. This battle is just luck I do not have a winning formula. At times I have beaten him I have used rolling attack. You will need to get creative to beat him.

Bison- Bison if he is going to do his foot sweep or scissor kick shock him. Other times keep using the rolling attack.

Playthrough as Sagat

Sagat is one of the more powerful fighters in the game. He has power and speed.

Cammy- Cammy if she gets close to you, hit with with the Tiger Uppercut or Knee. Also keep throwing Tiger shots at her for a quick win.

Dee Jay- He loves to kick and throw his fireball. Hit him with Tiger shots. If he tries to kick you use Tiger uppercut or Tiger Knee for a quick victory

Fei-Long- Its best to use tiger shots and when he moves in to kick you hit him with the Tiger uppercut.

T. Hawk- Use Tiger uppercut to knock him for a loop. As Hawk will close in on you so this is perfect to hit him with the uppercut.

E.Honda- Honda use Tiger shots to keep him at a distance to get his healthbar down to 50%. Then close in on him with Tiger Uppercut or Knee to knock him out.

Zangief- Similar to Honda. He will try to get close to you to grab you. Beware his attacks do massive damage. Best to drain his health with tigger shots, and then use tiger uppercuts to finish him off.

Ryu- Sagat has an easier time here. As he can keep Ryu at bay with tiger shots. If Ryu moves in use the Tiger Uppercut. I do not recommend the Tiger knee as that leaves you open for Ryu's uppercut.

Ken- See Ryu above

Chun Li- Sagat can keep Chun Li at bay with his tiger shots. When she does her typhoon kick use tiger uppercut to knock her down and do massive damage.

Blanka- Blanka loves to close in on you to bite you and shock you. Best use tiger shots to keep him at bay. If he tries to move in on you use the tiger uppercut. He is also prone to air kicks as well use that for a quick win.

Guile- Guile can be kept away with Tiger shots. Do not use air kicks here as he will use a flash kick knocking you down. Instead use Tiger knee on him.

Dhalsim- He likes to use his stretch attacks. Use Tiger shot and Tiger knee for best results. You can also hit him with the uppercut if he closes in on you to breath fire.

Balrog- Use Tiger Shots, and Tiger Knees for a quick win. If he does his dasing punch that is a good time to hit him with the uppercut.

Vega-Vega Likes to jump around and jump from the fence. The best way to deal with him is Tiger Uppercuts

Sagat- Yes even while playing as Sagat you have to fight Sagat. Try to imitate his moves and he will eventually go down.

Bison- Sagat has it easy in this battle. If Bison tries to foot sweep or kick you. He is prone to the uppercut. If he is about to do his phsycho crusher spear you can hit him tiger shots.

E.Honda Playthrough.

Honda is one of the hard heating characters along with Sagat.

Cammy- Use Sumo flying headbut and 100 hand slap for a quick victory. If she tries an air kick you can knock her down with a chop.

Dee Jay- You can use air kicks on him. But the 100 hand slap does massive damage against him. If he tries to kick you. Use the Sumo Smash to do extra damage.

Fei Long- You don't want to do the 100 hand slap here or the Sumo Smash. The reason being Long can kick you with his fire kick and knock you down. Use the summo Headbutt to keep him at bay. If he tries to close in on you. Use his grab and throw.

T.Hawk- Hawk can be tricky for Honda because he can grab Honda with his raging typhoon. Instead use the 100 hand slap and flying head butt to avoid being grabbed.

Zangief- Honda has it easy here. You can use the flying head but or sumo smash for massive damage. If Zangief tries to walk toward you, use the 100 hand slap for a quick victory.

Blanka- Honda also has it easy here. Don't let Blanka get close to you. Instead keep him at bay with the head butt and 100 hand slap for a quick victory.

Dhalism- Use Air kicks to wear him down. You can also use the sumo smash and head but for a quick win. I do not recommend grabbing him as he will use his fire attack.

Ryu- This is where Honda can have a hard time. Honda is not that fast and Ryu is. Ryu will try to close in on you. Best use the flyign head butt to keep him at bay. You can also try to the 100 hand slap to. Do not use air kicks, chops or the sumo smash as you will get taken out quickly.

Ken- See Ryu above

Chun LI- She is very quick. However you actually want her to close in on you. You can use the head but, or grab and throw. If she is going to do her typhoon kick use the hand slap to knock her down. She will eventually go down.

Guile- Honda has it easy here as long as you don't close in on him. Instead use the head but and hand slap for a quick victory.

Balrog- Honda can make quick work of Balrog. Use the flying head but or slap attack for a quick victory. Also you can use sumo smash if he tries to close in on you.

Vega-Honda has it difficult here. I have found the best way is to try to hit him with the slap attack. Then head but him. Honda will have a hard time dodging his dive off the fence attack.

Sagat- Now for a real battle. You have to be creative here. Sagat's Tiger shots will keep Honda at bay. If you try to get close to him. Sagat will in turn nail with with the knee or uppercut. I admit it there is no winning formula here. This battle is random and about luck.

Bison- Bison is easier than Sagat with Honda. His Head Butt can keep Bison at bay. He is also prone to Honda's slap attack. On the other hand, Honda can be prone to Bison's curb stomp and scissor kicks.
