Nintendo and Sega were booming like crazy in the 90s, so you'd better believe I was shocked that I discovered that Home Improvement got a game the first thing I thought was "Does the Angry Video Game Nerd Know about this?" I mean Cutthroat Island I can't call that understandable they must have been planned long before it was released in theatres but at least it didn't get an arcade version that required 40 quarters or tokens to play

well now that I had my exclamations which tv show or movie are you surprised got a video game adapation?

I did not play it, but Home Alone got a video game I believe. I was shocked they gave that movie a video game. Usually movies do not always make the best video games.

On the other hand Disney movies the Jungle Book, and Lion King I was not surprised they got video games. Because of the characters in those games there were lots of ways they could develop those games. Also most of those movies had multiple bad characters in them. I was not surprised when video games of those films were made. It kind of made more sense.

if I ever do finish The Lion King I would probably make remarks about how the soundtrack is so distracting I don't know if I should be playing the game or singing along to the background music

I'm surprised that the Bill and Ted movies got a game because the context of the movies isn't really something that you'd expect to translate well to a game and from what I can hear, the games themselves are pretty bad.
