Wow. This was a blast from the past. Rereading my 11-13 year old self spout 'advice and tips,' awkwardly praising games, and condemning one game so hard that three people had to tell me that I'm stupid...I'm very glad I'm not that same boy as I am today.

What a time it was, though. Playing Pokemon Fire Red was a huge pass time (which, through Vizzed, was the first Pokemon game I ever completed), and if it wasn't Pokemon, it was Punch-Out for NES and SNES, and other retro games that I played earlier in my life and wanted to play again.
I even remember trying to start a lets play channel by trying to record the Vizzed emulator while playing one of the Pokemon Dungeon games. I remember getting so angry that the music would get f***ed, and the FPS/game speed wasn't consistent when recording, and being so bummed that I "wouldn't get famous." (I distinctly remember saying that to myself after that lol)

Also, SIXLOCKE DOE? I made a thread about my Fire Red Sixlocke run and never updated it. That's because I lost while fast forwarding in Viridian forest. I was so embarrassed from losing that way that I never tried again, and is the reason I never updated it lol. I did not have the patience for that s***. I was waiting for those ProJared Nuzlocke moments, which was what inspired me at the time, but of course that won't happen when you die 10 minutes into the game.

Anyways, that's all. Just reminiscing on a website that holds a place in my heart. I'm not gonna be using it in the near future though. Apparently the Nintendo catalogue got chunked because Nintendo (f*** Nintendo), and also the UI is god awful, so yeah. Maybe next decade I can make another post like this. Assuming this site is still up by that time.

Quick answer to your change username part is that if you look in the top right and look forsettings, go to that page, and you can change your username there. Do note that it costs Viz to change it.


I think most people that do come here, especially 10+ years ago, cringe about what they posted. Like did I really talk that way? Sometimes it can be funny to look back and see how you have changed since then.

I do find your six-locke story pretty funny, though. Instead of just being like, "Wrap it up, I lost already," you were pretty much like, Nope, I must never show myself to the world again.

It would be cool if you hung around and joined the few that remained, but it's cool if you don't. Who knows, even 10 years later, if any of us will be around.
