I'm not much of a concert goer. I'm in a small town several dozens of hours away from typical venues and it's pretty expensive. I went to a festival when I was 12 years old where Akon, Justin Bieber, and Basshunter were all participating in. Then most recently I went to an Aerosmith concert that had an opening performance with Slash, about 5 years ago. There was no food and the place was packed. The music was performed really well and it was a fun time.

Hoping I can either go to a festival this year or see one of my favorite musicians, may end up even getting a plane ticket to that venue. Depends how things go.

Bow about you? What concerts have you see most recently?

I only been in one concert and it was for a Tyler the creator "Call me if you get lost" Tour. Me, my sister was very excited since we are big fans of them and my dad was able to get us VIP tickets to see it. It had a bunch a artists like Teezo Touchdown, Kali Uchis, someone I forgot their name. it was really cool because we was in the big crowd. And my sister thought he would be able to see me since I'm tall. we got merch for the tour and got extra stuff from the VIP tickets (I think we got a compass, socks, a patch, and a pin.)

The last concert I went to was Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem (The Big Steppers Tour) at UBS Arena in August 2022. It was fantastic. I went with my dad, who does not like rap music at all, and even he enjoyed it.

The next concert I am going to is JID and Smino (Luv is 4Ever Tour) in Boston on March 8th. We got floor tickets at an absolute steal. Think they were $70 apiece or something like that.

The last concert I attended was for a local artist named Zahara on November. A friend of mine invited me there, she said I would enjoy it despite my tastes being more focused towards heavy and electronic music, and she wasn't wrong at all. The girl does have talent and her music is varied and catchy. Kind of a different plan than the ones I'm used to, and it was a very welcome change.

I'll be going to another concert this Friday. Me and my best friend will go to Electric Callboy, who are touring their latest album. We got the tickets like in Summer, because we're huge fans of them and their mix of heavy music with electronic beats and melodies, as well as their funny approach to music in their videos and sometimes lyrics as well. They were scheduled for the same location as Zahara, but had to move elsewhere because they had sold all tickets several months ago and thus found a bigger place which has also sold out.

If we also count DJs playing live, I went to witness a set by Vandal a few days before 2022 ended at the same location Zahara played in (not sure why does that local get all my attention lately, but they do have culture in music xD). We expected at most a one-hour set of pure hardtek music, but it ended up being a two-hour super set which eventually even touched Frenchcore. It was an awesome night, even if the place was too packed to properly dance and let all out.

I expect a few more things to happen this 2023. I probably won't be able to attend the big festivals happening in Europe, but we'll see if we do have any other big nights like these three I've noted.

Last concert attended would be 6 years ago in August. It was the Warped tour and I’ve honestly enjoyed the experience during my stay in San Diego. Saw a few artists that were decent and I think the one band I know the most was American Authors with a few of their songs. I mean I didn’t stay there all day since I was with someone and her friend and we wanted food by 6 pm. Last artist I’ve seen before leaving was Beartooth? I think that’s the band’s name.

The last concert that I went to was Big Time Rush last summer. They were performing at Madison Square Garden and I was incredibly happy to be able to get tickets. I was a huge fan back in the day and I was super happy that they came back. It was a shame that the seats were pretty bad since that was all I could afford but it was an amazing experience.

Going to provide an update here, because I've been to two more concerts since I last posted in this thread. I saw JID and Smino at House of Blues in Boston in March, and they were great. The venue only holds like 1500 people or something like that, so it was felt intimate. They both stayed after the show to chat with people and autograph things, and JID kept checking in with us in the crowd during his set to make sure we were all safe and no one was getting too rowdy. Just a really awesome show overall with two of my favorite artists.

The most recent concert that I've been to, though, was Paramore. I saw them at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh last June. They were pretty good. Genesis Owusu and Bloc Party were the openers. Genesis Owusu was great, but Bloc Party was awful. They rushed through every song and didn't seem to care at all about the performance. Lowest effort I've ever seen from any musical artist.

I've never been to a concert, and probably will never be to one. I don't think I'd like it because there is usually tons of people at concerts.

Wait, now that I think of it, I have been, I was actually in a concert, it was for school, which I'm homeschooled now so I'm lucky!
