Blizzard Buffalo is a reploid later turned maverick boss that first appeared in Mega Man X3. So what is Blizzard Buffalo's Background? I am going to give more details about this reploid later turned maverick.

Blizzard Buffalo is based off of a North America Bison. He was originally built to provide security and rescue for ski slopes. He also severed as a recuse reploid in the Arctic and Alpine eco-systems. He toes allowed him to dig. His big body allowed him to clear large snow amounts or piles out of the way. If he needed to defend himself or protect others he could use his frost shield weapon and he could create ice.

Blizzard Buffalo despite his size and power was seen as a pacifist. During his free time he loved creating ice sculptures and ice art. He loved using his frost shield and the ability to create ice to make art. He was seen as a gentle giant. Due to being afraid of getting infected and turning maverick he moved to Doppler Town which all reploids were given the Doppler Anti Sigma Vaccine.

Like most reploids that came to Doppler Town. Buffalo was given the vaccine. Sadly, Blizzard Buffalo's fear came true. The vaccine was only a placebo. Doppler became infected. Eventually Buffalo became infected with the Sigma Virus.

Due to becoming a maverick, he joined Doppler's Army. He froze an entire city near Doppler Town with his frost shield and ability to make ice. He also set up a base in the city he froze. Eventually he was confronted and destroyed by X and Zero.

Blizzard Buffalo due to his gentile nature before becoming a maverick is seen as another tragic victim in the Reploid/Maverick Wars.
