And So we have come to the end of the Muncher Deluxe review, we’re getting to one I don’t have the highest opinion of, I will explain
Gameplay and Story: so this time we have our dear muncher reading his book and all of a sudden it’s calling him kind of asking the same question the tv did in Math Munchers deluxe, again we get new Troggles in this one, and this time the commentators are a pair of bookworms….makes sense considering this is for the subject of Grammar, English, Phonics, etc, this time Slimey and Mel are replaced in the Troggle department, also in this game every time three boards are cleared we get to see the Munchers, Troggles and Cookie re-enact scenes from nursery rhymes, fairy tales, and well known literature….albeit not accurately
Graphics: I think this may have been made around the same time as Math Munchers because the muncher looks about the same as he did in Math Munchers (while I had notice that the Muncher in Knowledge Munchers looks textured a little differently l like he’s a little more green but rubbery)
Soundtrack: This game has the best background music, and the best song used in the hall of fame which will be displayed below, I don't know about you guys but the Hall of Fame tracks should be included in the game music
Addictive: well here’s the problem, again unlike Math Munchers I haven’t owned a copy of the game since childhood, I didn’t own this until 2011 I don’t think I played it until sometime closer to the end of the 2010s when I added the muncher games to the lineup
Depth: Again there’s no limit to the game either you play until you’ve had enough or you play until the Troggles eat all your munchers...or eat enough wrong answers to poison the Muncher
Difficulty: Well I’ll be blunt this was a little bit more difficult than the other two entries, I never struggled with Vocabulary in any way because I was a good speller, but there was stuff in there that I wasn’t used to like Long vowels and all that, I never had so much trouble that I needed the Phonics games or Hooked on Phonics in real life, I kind of hate that we didn't learn everything in school.
Post-review follow-up: Thank god it’s the last of these ones, you would think that something from a franchise I recall playing in grade school would be easier to talk about, I didn’t think writers block would hit me right at this point, I do quite enjoy the muncher games though, but even so I still have fond memories of playing the original versions at school
This concludes my review, I will have another one later today but as of this pre-write I haven’t figured out which one, so tomorrow I will review *Checks notes* Math Blaster episode 1: The Phantom Menace In Search of Spot (I couldn't come up with a star wars pun related to Math, well at least I will have alot more to write about here
I'll work on the second review later, I'm going to be busy this morning (wedding prep and gaming can take alot out of you that's why I had to pre-write this review)
