yep I am reviewing another YDKJ game, just one more in regards to the stuff I currently own (I'm giving myself a deadline I'm actively keeping an eye open for the games but I use the internet archive as a last resort) and I think I may have used to opener from the this game for the title of the review for Volume 1....oops oh well onto the review for this game.

Gameplay and Story: This is a trivia game there is no plot but we have a new host (who I am pretty sure is the same voice actor), we have a new batch of questions and a couple of new items (more on that later),

Graphics: So we still have mostly blue backgrounds in this game however they had different designs like the lettering is more filled.

Soundtrack: New game, new soundtrack including a Barney the Dinosaur impersonation, also there are a couple of segue soundtracks that also found it's way into Movies and tv as some kind of Easter egg I guess?

Addictive: You know what keeps me coming back most? The celebrity collect calls, I'll explain in a minute, oh also this is the first game where they acknowledge a holiday if you are playing on one, like for example the 4th of July, I actually found a site that had a list of the holidays they do acknowledge (I wonder why they didn't do Halloween) heck back in October I was going to collect for Columbus day when instead I got a "Hello happy National Coming Out Day" I was not ready for that I was actually ready for Columbus Day, so as a result I'm going to be making that a deadline for adding another game to my collection.

Depth: So this is the game that introduces the Dis or Dat (I actually told an online buddy that if they were to make the game today or make another edition of the tv edition which I will review eventually they could have included a Dis or Dat that asks has the celebrity competed on Dancing With the Stars, The Masked Singer or Both and believe me there are plenty of celebrities that have done both (I wouldn't count Bergeron since he hosted DWTS, and Nicole is a judge on the Masked Singer, and Niecy Nash filled in for Nick Cannon last year when he caught COVID. Also this game has something that none of the other games have....CELEBRITY COLLECT CALLS!!!! That's right we actually get questions from celebrities in this game from people who were super famous at the time (Like Tim Allen, Dennis Miller, and Dana Carvey) and some that have since Dearly Departed (like Milton Berle and Nell Carter) and some that have made me go who? (Griffin Dunne and Lauren Tewes) and oh yeah considering how many Brady Bunch questions there are in the franchise you'd think they would have booked one of the stars of the show....and they do they got Florence Henderson. We still have the Fibre optic field trip though. Also the length of the game depends on whether you pick a 7 question game or a 21 question game.

Difficulty: The difficulty is about the same as the other games and again it depends on how much you know about pop culture.

Post Review Follow up: I enjoyed this game but one question kind of tee'd me off you make have to play this on youtube, but if I run into it while I play the game this summer I'll add the playing that has the question. I should be happy that Carmen Sandiego was considered popular enough to be mentioned in a You Don't Know Jack game but they didn't have to call it an irritating Kids Show(are they jealous or something, yeah I'm pretty sure they're aiming at the World game show which had already wrapped by the time the game was released but Time was in production...don't worry still going to review that game)...I later found out that she got two questions in this game, and a pretty mean April Fools prank (and a Gibberish question in the lost gold but I haven't played it) that's the only nitpick I have.

This concludes my review, join me tomorrow when I think I have to review a coin-op game(even though I don't have other summer gaming MAME-ories even though I went down quite the rabbit hole on this site last Summer)...yeah I didn't plan for Sunday very well and I have no plans on taking Sundays off, not any time soon....which reminds me I may have to pre-write the review
