I'm a huge Resident Evil fan & have been playing various versions of each game over the years.

So far I played the original, Directors Cut & the Sega Saturn versions of this one.

The prototype is interesting but with the limits to the GBC this would be a failure.

Graphics-It looks awful with the sprites & areas looking very low quality compared to other versions. Also it's impossible to tell if there's items in an area.

Sound- Because it's a prototype there's only the 1 track on repeat which gets annoying so I muted it to keep myself sane.

Addictive-No one play through is enough

Story-The plot follows the same as the original just without voices or proper cutscenes.

Depth-Plenty to explore but majority of rooms are empty.

Difficulty-Your only enemies are zombies that are easy to avoid but they can kill you quickly.

Capcom did the right thing to cancel this version, it looks & plays really badly it would have likely failed if it was released.

Didn't they eventually release an actual mobile RE or was that just leaked?
